A person development is compulsory for their growth. With this improving process they
can assess skills, objectives, to increase their potential towards responsibilities (Birkeland, 2017).
It is important to develop individual strengths, weakness etc. Everybody needs to polish their
skills which are necessary to build impressive personality (Understand Yourself Better, 2016). It
doesn't mean that if an individual who require more development is worst for organization. This
development process changes person attitude, behaviour, thought process and they can clearly
see their life aim. Report will describe four skills, which are required for personal or professional
growth. Firstly, it explains importance of focus and attention in person personality. Next skill
which report will discuss is time management value to accomplish targets before set deadline.

Focus and attention- Focus and attention is the center of interest or activity (Brooks, 2017). I
am good in learning new thing with more focus and attentively. This skill has made me different
from others. It’s not compulsory that all have equal mental level. Few are good in learning with
focus and few aren't. I pay my attention whenever I am in a business meeting. It gives growth
opportunity. It is necessary that to speak well first, listen attentively. To become successful, I do
all my work with focus and try to achieve them within time. Meditation is the best adoption
source of this skill.
Importance- Focus and attention is important to concentration on a single thought or topic. A
trained mind is able to pay more focus on any task (Connor, 2018). I can pay attention on my
work without distracted by thoughts, outside or inside noises etc. This skill is helpful in walk of
life, study, reading, and driving & task accomplishment. It is important for me in several ways
like- control on thoughts, maintaining inner peace, staying away from annoying thinking,
improving brain power, meditation, increasing work efficiently. I can achieve targets efficiently
with the use of focus and attention skill.
Feedback- My annual performance impressed my colleagues and manager and they admired me
for such efforts. Their feedback was negative for my working style, they were not happy. But
when I adopted this skill, I was able to perform more qualitative. Their appreciation encouraged
me that I have to pay more attention give further good outcomes. I also find changes in work
performance and continuously getting good results.
Perception of others- Others changed their perception about me when they saw my
performance. Before, they thought that I never take my responsibilities seriously and always try
to escape to accept big challenges. Earlier, I did not pay focus on work, but my hard work
refuse to all their opinion. I started to complete responsibilities with concentration, which was
beneficial for me, professionally or personally. This skill also change my own perception for
myself and I start to do work with concentration.
Use in the future- This skill is more useable in future to get long term advantages of profit and

maintains balance between official or personal life. By using these techniques, I can improve
my ability to function more effectively. To get success, it is necessary to manage schedule and
complete task within specific period. According to Maslow theory, time management is
important to understand value of food, water, and love in person life. It is related to various
concepts like- project management, planning, attention etc. Company time management is the
science of identify, value and reduce time cost wastage. It is the combination of processes,
tools, techniques or method.
