INTRODUCTION
Skills in a persons reflect the personality of that person. It can be defines as the essentials
for a person to grow in future. It reflect the actual behaviour of a person. This report include
mainly 4 skills such as motivation, good communication, good technician and punctuality
(Mischel, 2014). These abilities also helps in self development. In this assignment the
understanding of such ability reflect the importance of skills development within a person and
why the development is required for them. The whole assignment is based on the understanding
and reflection of core skills. If a person have excellent in these qualities then he will be able to
work efficiently in team. Good communication ability plays a vital role in the career
development. Development of good communication also helps in the development of all aspects
in future life span. Motivation defines the inner reason for doing a specific action by a person. It
is also called a scientific guide. A person can motivate himself by doing difficult task, by
becoming more creative. The motivation helps a person to create better outcomes. Punctuality is
also plays an essential role within a person's life. It refers to that the fact or quality of a person to
being on time. If a person have that quality then he will be succeed in his career (Rochat, 2014).
Good technician is also one of the major skill that support a persons in their career advancement.
A good technician is a person who have a deep knowledge about analytics as well as also
commitment to learning something new. This report explains the above skills and reflect why
these are needed to develop.

Good Technician: It refers to the knowledge or ability that support a person to perform
specific task effectively which is associated with some technical role such as mechanical,
mathematical, scientific or programming language (Wagner, 2016).

A good technician skill is very essential as it support in solving the various issues related
to the information technology and gadgets. Expertise in this skill will help me in dealing

with problems that I may face while using computer and other technical instruments which
are related with my study. I have selected this skill for reflection because it support a
person in performing their work more efficiently and perfectly by using technical
instruments effectively as it may eliminate the chance of errors.

Technical skills are very essential for an individual as it help them in performing their
operations quickly in a more informed way which provide positive result (Cozolino,
2014). For this skill I rate myself 7 out of 10 after taking feedback from my friends and
tutors. As this conversation supported me in finding the weaknesses which I required to
overcome for developing my technical skill. From my self assessment, I came to know
that my data analysis skill is weak and I required to work over it.

Yes, I found a contradiction in my analysis as I marked myself 7 out of 10 as my data
analytical skill is weak but according to my lecturer I stand over 6 out of 10. Because
according to them my statistical analysis skills is also weaker along with analytical skill
(Brockett and Hiemstra, 2018).

Technical skill will support me in getting a better job with higher pay as it help in
performing work more efficiently. Apart from this it also help me developing my
multitasking skills that further support in performing my task effectively and on timely
manner.

person's respect toward time as well as people (Punctuality, 2018).

Punctuality skill is important as it support a person to remove the negative attitude and
work toward achieving their targets as per planned earlier (Swearer and Hymel, 2015). I
have select punctuality for reflection as a person with punctual nature always achieve
success, get respect, recognition and social acceptance within the society.

Punctuality and time management skill is a key to success for everyone in their life as it
help them in performing their operations on timely manner which always bring expected
result (Gore and Cross, 2014). For this skill I rate myself 7 out of 10 after getting feedback
from my tutors and peers. Apart from this from my personal assessment also I came to
know that I am punctual in performing my tasks as am quite good at managing time during
my work.

No, I haven't find any contradiction regarding this skill analysis as my peer as well as
lecturers are agree that I am punctual in performing my work. Apart from this they also
state that I know how to manage my time to complete my work as per planned schedule.

This skill is very essential for a better career opportunity as punctuality and good time
management skill is highly demanded by employers across all the industry. Punctuality
skill also help me in achieving success within my career as it support me in performing
my task on time and maintaining a positive relation with peer as well as superiors while

Communication skill:- As per the views of Jared Atchison if a person want to be a good
leader or good worker and then he must be a good communicator. It may have many types
such as formal communication,informal etc. Communication defines as the skills of talking
with other through voice or non-voice methods (Presser and Sandberg, 2015). Communication
is a necessary part of life if you want to grow in future. It can be learn if a person is willing to
become a good communicator. It is not a skill that a person born with.

This is important because without it I can't interact with others. If I want to things done in right
way then the problems I must have to be identified. These problems can be discover through
that skill only. I select that skill to reflect on because I am not good enough in better
communication. I have to development in my communication skills. If I want to growth in
future then I must have that skill. This is needed for professional development approach also
(Fonagy, 2018).

I found that I am not a good communicator. I am not able sometime to transfer the ideas to my
collogues properly. Somewhere I felt that my pitch of voice get higher with the time span. My
peers also complaint about my communication style. They said that I have not knowledge to
interact with others. They gave me suggestion to improve my skill to grow in future. Some
time I also felt the fault in my communication behaviour when I talk to my superiors. I
analysis the sense of commutation of my superiors and assess my competence.

There is not any contradiction from my above analysis. Because I also feel same thing
regarding my skill as others found. There is a specific need to improvement in my
communication skills. There is a positive match between how me and others see my
communication skill. I felt the same problems in my behaviours as others told me. I have to

need improve myself not to don any contradictory comment on that situation.

The good communication skill help to develop in my career. It is also needed for professional
development (Crockett and et. al., 2014). In will be a good communicator then I will be a good
leader also. This also help me in achieving my goals and objective also. That skill provide
motivation to interact with superiors. A good interaction with superiors increase the changes
promotion in designation.

Motivation:- As per the views of Remez sasson it is the inner capacity of a person which
encourages him for every action. Career success requires motivation. It all about desires and
actions if these are not in a person then motivation too absent from him. It becomes strong as
well as your stronger vision. It may be for any thing such as personal goals, professional goals
etc. it an important step of the stairs to success. If a persons have lack of motivation then he
will not able to do something different.

The motivation skill is needs for achieving the future goals and objectives. It helps in
identifying the inner capability and skills to do something different. This helps in achieving
the success (Garrison and Akyol, 2015). It increase the productivity and efficiency of a
person. I select this to reflect on me because I have good enough motivation skill. It is my
strength for achieving future goals. I have inner powers to do increment in my productivity
and efficiency. It helps me in doing things in right way.

According to my current competent this skill is my strength. I fell it by daily routine activity.
I assess it by analysis of work done by me. Sometime I fell strong myself to do something
which is a sign of motivation. It provides me inner power for taking up action regarding

something difficult. I assessed it when comparison is done by me about working ability of my
superiors and mine. My collogues and tutors also appreciate me sometime for work done by
me.

no I did not any found contradiction from my analysis. It may be said that there is positive
contradiction (Crossler and et. al., 2014). The power of my inner strength which named as
motivation I have good enough. My superiors and collogues also consider that thing. There is
a positive relationship between that how I and others see myself. My peers identify my
strength before me by discovering my working ability. And appreciated by them to
developing it as my strength.

This skills plays a vital role in my future activities. This will helps in achieving the success in
life (MacInnis, Park and Priester, 2014). It enhance my productivity skills in future career and
convert difficulties in easy tasks by providing inner power. According to Sharon Martin
organizing, exercising and doings things with good power enhance motivation which helps in
achieving mission. So in that way it help me in future.

their life. Most common skills that a person must have for better career development is good
communication, motivation, punctuality and technical skills. These are the skills that are mostly
demanded by the employer in around all industry. As effective communication will support a
person to interact and convey their message effectively that will reduce chance of
misconception. Apart from this it also support in transforming information effectively so that the
desired outcome can be achieve. In addition to this punctuality skills help an individual to

Further good technician skill also plays a major role in developing a better career for an
