goal of achieving Sustainable development goals for better future of every child.

Characteristics of Strategic Decisions in UNICEF Strategy
The UNICEF Strategic Plan 2018-2021 addresses several characteristics of strategic
decisions (Hagiu 2014). Some of the characteristics of strategic decisions, which have been
addressed in the UNICEF Strategic Plan, are as follows:
Clearing Goals and Objectives – The UNICEF Strategic Plan 2018-2021 have one of
the characteristics or features of strategic decisions that it gives a clear picture of the
goals and objectives. UNICEF Strategic Plan follows principle of leaving no one behind.
The goals and objectives of the UNICEF Strategic Plan includes poverty eradication,
addressing issues of climate changes ,achieving gender equality and empowerment of
girls and women, encouraging sustainable development and others (Sachs 2013).
Organizing and Relocating – The UNICEF Strategy Plan addresses the characteristic of
strategic decisions of relocating and organizing .It includes working together more
effectively at all levels ,plan together with national governments ,enhance partnership
with multi-stakeholders and implement programs jointly with various groups .

analytical methods like Porter’s five forces, SWOT analysis and value chain analysis.
The main strategic analysis that should have been done by UNICEF before doing the strategic
plan are as follows:
