UNILEVER AND ITS ENVIRONMENT
INTRODUCTION
The internal factors are those factors on which the
businesses are having some control such as the employees
and processes and on the other hand, external factors are
those factors which are not under the control of the
businesses for example, economy, customers, politics and
many more such factors. This poster will discuss the
impacts of the internal and external environment on the
organization as well as the impact of the organization on
the external environment.
PESTLE ANALYSIS
Political: The Unilever company is subjected towards
number of the regulatory restrictions and the guidelines
which has been framed by the European Commission and
the Food and Drug Administration.
Economical: : The consumers are having direct impact on
the products and the services which are offered by the
company. The company's cash flow and the profits of the
company has been negatively affected by this factor.
Social:The Unilever company continuously producing the
new products as well as has the platform for selling them
online due to the preference of the customers. The
company is using very high level of the automation as
compared to its competitors as this allowed the company
to stay ahead in the highly competitive.
Human Resources: This department is
related to the employees who are working
within the business organisation. This
department affects the organization
internally both negative and positive aspect
(Dmitrijeva and et.al., 2020).
Finance: The business wants the adequate
funds for running the activities of the
businesses effectively. The company having
the adequate funds will enable the companies
to survive and grow successfully.
Current Technology: This is one of the
most important factor as it is very important
for the companies to adopt the effective
technology which will help them in staying
ahead of the highly competitive marketplace.
Impact of the organization on the external environment
Resources: The company's are using the resources for meeting the expectations of the
customers by offering them the better products and services. This is highly affecting
the business environment if the companies will be using the large number of the
resources, this will lead to the shortage of the resources within the business
environment.
Competition: The competition is considered as one of the most important aspect due
to which the organization has much impact on the business environment. The
companies which are giving much competition to the other companies are very largely
affecting the business environment.
Products and services: The Unilever company is offering the products and the
services which are unique and are of wide range. This enables them to give the cut-
throat competition in the market.
Prices of products: The prices which are set by the companies has the major impact
on the market as this changes the complete business environment. The business
environment is set according to the policies, strategies which are framed by the
companies.
