many global factors which factors affect the profitability or the company such an micro and
macro environmental factors. This report will analyzed the pastel analyses of the Unilever
company which is UK based company and this report will briefly discuses that how those factors
can affect profitability of the company.

Political Factor
Political factors always affect on the organization and one thing which affect the
sourcing of the Unilever company was Brexit which is withdrawal of the united Kingdom from
the European union , this withdrawal affect on the companies profitability. Main source of the
company to buy row material was Europe and they were getting best quality row material from
them (El Ghoul and et.al., 2018). They were also sourcing labor from the EU countries because
labor was available in less cost. After sometime company stared trading with the other countries
and this help them to come up on better position.
Economic factors
Employment in the UK is in highest level right now this can affect on the company and
the Unilever can take advantage from this because If employment level is high then they do not
need to resource employees from other country and they can save money by giving employment
to their own country people this will save travel cost ,food many more expenses. Exchange rate
also provide benefit for company if pound rate will decrease then they will get resources in low
price
Social Factors
Unilever company is selling food and personal care product in many locations of the UK
and t5here are many who are giving competition to this company and customers are buying
products from others because they are giving same product in low price , because of this
company close their many sores in some locations. To give compilation to other company start
online stores and delivery this help them, to increase their profitability.

their online sores in the all over the work and increase their reach. Company also providing card
facilities on their stores so customers can pay through card , transaction will be done digitally
customers do no need to pay cash in this technology(Neumayer., 2017). They are also thing to
put new trending technology which can increase their profitability.
Environmental factors
this company is promoting sustainable and renew able product for customers. They have
design their product like which can safely delver to their customers in their delivery location.
Company is using Eco-friendly products from the design of the product.
Legal factors
company following all the governmental rules and they are having all copyrights of the
company and their products are safe for their customers and they are care shifty of their
employees.
