P2 Evaluation of the project management plan that provides thorough discussion
valuable elements of project management
The following section has provided information regarding the project management plan
of the company to analyze the core impacts of business of Unilever on India’s business
environment.
Objectives Entire planning
Cost In order to develop a project, it is highly important to
measure its costs as it is completely related to its
budget structure. The approximate costs for
developing the project will be the basic concern of the
project manager. For gathering data from the
interview procedure, approximately £506 will be
accessed whereas survey process will take only £345
from the researcher. It can also be estimated that in
time of getting information from the new market
opportunities, the project team leader needs to invest
at least £458 in a proper manner. Apparently, in order
to gain data from various websites and analyze the
practical data, technical experts will be recruited. The
Recruitment process can be charged up to £800 and
£8000 can be the basic salary of the technologists
from the first day.
Scope Precisely, the project will help to know the present
business environments of the Unilever in UK that can
directly keep its influences on the business
environment of India. On the other hand, a project
develops the project planning, scheduling and
designing which will help to know the project
hypothesis (Kerzner and Kerzner, 2017). In this way,
the negative and positive impacts of business
environments can be separated in a proper manner
(Kerzner, 2018).
Time As described by Todorović et al. (2015), without
proper project timing, the accomplishment of project
tasks cannot be determined in an actual manner. For
the topic selection, 2 day will be needed and for
developing the aim and objectives, the researcher will
take 4 days. The project team leader of the company
will gather information regarding the activities of the
company through taking 15 days. Survey process will
be done by accessing 7 days and the interview
process will be done through 8 days respectively.
Data analysis will be scheduled taking 13 days. For
Document Page
deriving the recommendations, the project team
leader will take 6 days and for summarizing thoughts,
3 days will be taken. Finally, the proofreading and the
final submission will take 3 days and 1 day in a
respective manner.
Quality As per the viewpoints of Walker and Lloyd-Walker
(2016), maintenance of project quality is highly
mandatory to meet the project success. In the context
of the present study, the project team leader needs to
maintain the project quality which will show the core
troubles in the project as well as the best decisions of
the management regarding the effects of the business
environment of Unilever on India.
Communication In order to conduct the entire project, the project
manager needs to make regular communication with
all the parties related to the project (Lock, 2017). The
team leader needs to communicate with both the
management of Unilever in the UK and India.
Interaction with the stakeholders needs to be
maintained in a proper manner. In time of gathering
data through interview and survey procedure, the
team leader needs to be interacted properly based on
which the business environmental effects will be
gained in a systematic manner (Serra and Kunc,
2015).
Risk The project team leader will also identify the risks
related to the entire project management plan (Van
Tulder, 2015). The risks related to finance,
manpower, data collection and analysis, skills of
workers, investments will also be identified by the
management in a thorough way. It will help to know
the effects on social, financial and economic
environment of UK business environment along with
fewer risks (Turner, 2016).
Resources The primary resources of a project are the financial,
technological and human resources (Etemad and
Dulude, 2018). Therefore, the project team leader
needs to be verified the requirements of the
resources for knowing the influences of business
environment on India (Wu et al. 2016). The attitudes
of management will also be defined in a proper
manner as it will also be considered as project

resource.

P3 Timeframe for the entire project management
The above discussion states a brief timeframe which will be conducted by the project
team leader to complete the entire study. In the context of topic selection, 2 day will be
needed and for mentioning the aim and objectives, the researcher will take 4 days. In
order to complete the survey and interview procedures, the researcher will take 7 and 8
days in a respective manner. This step will be considered as the data collection in the
entire time frame. On the other hand, data analysis will be done for which 13 days will
also be taken by the researcher. The timeframe will also present the summarization of
thoughts which will take 3 days from the project team leader and also 6 days will be
needed for deriving recommendations. After that, the proofreading and final submission
will be held within 3 days and 1 day in a systematic manner. However, the entire
research will be conducted in the weekdays only, Saturdays and Sundays will be
