the workforce. Leadership is also linked with the up-gradation of overall organisational
performance workforce and also company. Effective leaders also develop and enhance the
bottom line of company. If the leaders are not capable to meet with requirements as per business
that also manage stakeholders of organisation for generating more profits within the
organisation. On the other side, management is defined as completion of work through engaging
teams for completion of project through managing work with group members (Okçu, 2014). On
the other side, leadership undertakes different traits which is used by management or manager
through managing organisational work with used of different resources in the disposal method.
Leadership undertakes various aspects that make better communication, inspiration, supervise
and inspire other individuals for completion of work by implementing primary skill for complete
of work as per successful leaders. This is the quality of leaders that makes them to make
naturally results through completing all tasks that leads management for completion of work
with high abilities that make better comparison with others. There are different roles performed
by leader and it turn into responsibilities which leads to pursue dreams and objective of
organisation in right manner that leads to accomplish top position in market. From the viewpoint
of Vikash Kumar, 2019, management can be defined as the process that include different factors

that are used for making effective decisions techniques in order to analyse and measure various

the principle might collects entire efforts of organisation which is leading business area to gain
short and long term objectives by managing all business with implementing adverse efforts for
making effective utilisation of resources.
With the view point of Joan Cheverie, 2016 it is identified that there are some difference
exists between leadership and management such as change in their roles. The leader and manager
perspective is used by all organisation but some time objectives and goals of organisation are
interchanged (Lantu, 2015). Managers are those individuals who perform various responsibilities
for completion of work according to operations and functions that offer various welfare on
organisation. Manager also have quality of leadership but it is used to carry various
responsibilities for leadership as well. In this management also provides effective
communication to all employees for fulfil of all responsibilities and leadership in an appropriate
manner. For this management must implement effective communication, motivation of
employees, guiding and inspiring all workforce for building courage that raise productivity level
of organisation. This refers that all managers are not able to work as per leaders but of them are
able to work with strong leadership skill. In many of the retail organisation employees follow the
rule of manager but this is only because management is obliged to perform all functions and
operations that leads organisation to accomplish organisational goals and objectives. The duties
of the manager are to provide description of job which is followed by all employees in proper
manner. Along with this manager are also responsible for recruiting, promoting and rewarding
employees that is developed according to behaviour and performance of employees. Further, the
major difference between organisational leadership and management is that this is not
compulsory for leaders are also able to obtain authority but managers are responsible as well as
authorise in managing completion of work and making effective decisions according to the
convenience or situation (Langham, 2018). Moreover, organisational work is different from
nature, attitude and behaviour of employees to perform each task properly. Leaders are more
passionate towards organisational work that also makes interest for solving different task.
Leaders are also more passionate to solve make interest for solving issue as per individual. While
manager ensure that with better performance organisation is able to calculate cost. On the other
side, power of leader is also not tangible that also not sure to remain for long time period so the
manager also able to complete work as per several decisions for developing productivity of
organisation. Along with this according to the perspective of Nikita Duggal, 2020, manager and

leaders hold some similarities and differences. As per Kotter organisation also state that there is
no well management is performed either it is controlled by leader or manager. Both leader and
manager are two different distinct personalities which perform different action and activities to
manage organisational work and operations. In the present scenario manager are those
individuals who promote and built stability in organisation. The administrators are those that
assemble and advance the soundness inside the organization and the pioneers embed the changes.
Initiative has the job to gain the genuineness and trust between the organization and the
representatives and that is same as the administration. The two of them assemble the positive
culture and better condition that bestows put stock in the representatives (Kouzes and Posner,
2018). They play the intriguing activity inside the organization and attempt to up-increase the
working expectation of the organization. Both of the top authority leaders and the manager
attempt to bring the advancement and positive changes inside the organization by which they
working standards and execution will get created and related.
According to the perspective of Ben Mulholland, 2019, Behavioural theory of leadership
isn't obligatory that all the pioneers work with more productivity. There is an expression as like
that "extraordinary leaders or developers are born, not made" that is the significant explanation
for the successful and productive pioneer. There is distinctive quality that is overseen and
performed by the pioneers. As there are diverse rationale is holed up behind the pioneer they
convey consistency with them and impact others to aside from the change. They have that
conduct through which they could draw in the huge number of individuals and they have the
intrinsic quality in them that makes them an extraordinary pioneer. There is some unique conduct
of the pioneers as like the undertaking focused in this the pioneers must work with the fair
structure and it incorporates all the diverse viewpoint according to the portrayal (Karagianni and
Jude Montgomery, 2018). They never maintain a strategic distance from the human conduct and
consistently attempt to get into the profundity so as to give the better arrangement. It embeds the
distinctive conduct as like starting, explaining, arranging and the get-together of the data in
precise manner. Individuals arranged pioneers are those that puts forth an attempt to satisfy the
need and request of the workers. They generally empower, tune in, watch and love seat the
different as like the guide and gives the particular way to follow the achievement and
advancement (Timm, 2019). Participative authority is the style where the pioneer could generally
show up in each kind of condition and persuades the others with more consistency and exactness.

It incorporates the correspondence, coordinated effort, designating, empowering and gathering
the input so as to ad lib the working methodology. The norm heads are the one that think as same
as the trough and have a basic methodology wherein they attempt to fulfill the prerequisite and
request of the representatives (Humphries-Kil, 2019). It incorporates the age of the criticism,
sensible dissemination of the assignment and has the absence of adaptability and therefore
changes the undertaking in suitable way for completion of project in an effective manner. In-
different leader which is also recognise as per improvised leader that work with adoption of
diverse behaviour and also leads to assess different priorities with the preference of and
motivated to work through developing effective relation with leaders. This also consists that
there are various norms are present in market that consists of developing self-preservation,
evading and also face the challenge that is related with lack of communication skill. Along with
this there are some autocratic leaders are focused to work with strict discipline that leads
management for completion of work in a desired manner for gaining effective outcomes. This
also help organisation to remove extra pressure from employees at peak time period. It also
consists of different behaviour that not like excuses, work with deadlines, target accomplishment
and complete of work with more productivity that directly reduces challenges and prefer to work
with right feedbacks. Along with this there are various approaches present that leads leaders to
solve different situations and work as per right behaviour of employees.
With the view of M. Johan, 2017, transactional leadership works as the desired approach of
leadership that is used by leaders to make focus on different role of organisation. Supervision,
collective performance in the groups refers to develop better kind of leaders. Moreover, in order
to generate strong believe among employees it is mandatory to implement effective leadership
style and transactional leaders believe on its employees for completion of organisational work in
proper manner (Frost, 2014). There are some assumptions also implemented in transactional
leadership which make believe that leaders boost more clarity in an organisation to complete all
task in a specific manner. This also helps individuals to overcome from several problems in an
easy manner. These results all the consequences which is generating issue or challenge for retail
organisation are solved by management with support of experience and knowledge used by
management in an appropriate manner. Further, transactional leadership consists of two different
aspect which is punishment and rewards. So it is also help management to work with two
