Project management and operation helps business organization in a very
effective manner by which business can be enhanced and raise their brand around
the world. Operation management is most essential part which control all the
function and operation of the business environment. Project management focuses
on innovating the new product and service with in the business environment which
can expand value of the firm and enhance the productivity of an organization. It is
most essential to developed an effective and efficient plan which can help in
operating the business in an effective manner (Visser, 2020). Operation and project
management helps in providing the effective pathway to utilize the resources in an
appropriate way by which organization imposed policies and strategies within the
business environment. The chosen organisation is Unilever, which is a multinational
company of the British country with headquarter in London. Unilever was found on 2
september1929, and it provides many goods which includes food, beauty product,
cleaning products, and personal care. It is the largest producer of soap all around the
world and their product available across the 190 countries. This report include
variation in project management and operation, different theories and models
adopted by organisation. Lastly, it also includes the project life cycle phase and
strategies to run the project.
