BTEC Unit 11: Digital Transformation Strategy & Employee Engagement

This research project investigates the impact of digital transformation strategies on employee engagement, focusing specifically on Tesco. The rationale chosen behind this topic is to enhance the knowledge of data collection by using
digital transformation strategies. Also, it will help to providing better customer experience by
providing better services in regard to encouraging digital culture. Further, it will help for creating
the system in order together the right data and responsibilities in corporate fully business
intelligence at higher level. Organization can increase the revenue in order to use the digital
marketing strategies so that it helps to increase the revenue.

According to Vial, (2019) it has been analysed that digital transformation is help to planning the
action in order to describe the business strategically reposition itself in digital economy. This is
also help for focusing on using the technology in order to improve the performance of business.
Ins order to specify the directions of the organization in order to create the competitive
advantages in order to use digital technology.
Relation of digital transformation strategies on employee engagement are help for sharing and
collaboration regarding different department. This is also helped for enhancing the employee

engagement and empowerment by providing the better customer experiences and insight. On the
basis of implementation it has been analysed that this is beneficial for implementation process.
Further, in order to invest more on digital technology that helps for employee development in
order to motivate by valuing the business by retention the higher employment rates.
It has been stated by Hanelt and Antunes Marante, (2021) that there are some challenges which
are faced by leading poor communication because digital technology affected the physical
communication. Then it has been identified that to collect financial resources are typical for
adopting digital technology such as challenge for pay per click on SEO etc.
It has been recommended that Organization can use the strategies for digital transformation in
order to emphasize mores on values and mission. Reis, (2018 ) stated that it is important to
provide regular training to employees so that update the technology change accordingly.
