INTRODUCTION
The resources play a very important part in the all the specialist areas of learning. The report
focussed on the specialist area of English language and literature in the FE College. It started by
explaining the effectiveness of the resources in meeting the needs of the individual learning in
the area of English language and literature. The principles of resource design will also be
examined along with the sources which inform the resource development in the same area. The
resources will be analysed which can be adapted for enabling the inclusive approach in the area.
The ways will be reviewed for sharing resources with other professionals.
MAIN BODY
TASK 2
Effectiveness of special resources for meeting individual needs
There are various resources which are used by the lecturers of college who teaches English
language and literature that play their roles accordingly and helps in meeting the different needs
of the individuals. These are lesson plans, phonemic charts, articles, classroom activities and
many more. Lesson plans prove to be the best resource in teaching the students the language and
literature of English. This is the systematic plan which consists of all the lessons, Objectives,
description of the materials needed, a complete procedure of the opening and closing as well as
the complete assessment along with the modifications which also motivate teachers. This proves
to be effective in teaching the students English language and literature especially for all types of
learners. Another resource can be the phonemic chart which helps the students in hearing and
understanding the sounds of English by using a specific tool (Smither, Houston and McIntire,
2016). This helps in developing skills of the learners and satisfies the needs of the auditory
learners. Classroom activities are also performed to enable the students to learn the things
practically through hands-on-practice. These helps in meeting the needs of the physical learners.
Principles of Resource design
The principles of the resource design are meeting the needs of the learners, VAK, fit-for-
purpose, addressing the learning domains, current content, SMOG test readability and many
more. Among all these, the most predominant principle of designing must be aimed at meeting
the learning needs in which the lecturers teach the students according to the needs of the students

and their learning styles. For this they must use the resources for specific learning styles in the
class which can be fit-for-purpose. For this, the lecturers use the printable English and the
literacy sources which are provided by the functional skills links. The SMOG readability test can
be used to check the reading level of the written materials. It can be used by counting 10
sentences in a row near the beginning of the material, 10 in the middle and 10 near the end which
makes up to 30 sentences. In each group of sentences, the word must be counted having three or
more syllables. Then, adding the total number of words counted. For finding the grade level, the
SMOG conversion table is used. The students understand the 90% to 100% of the information if
they can read above the grade level (Amit and Han, 2017).
Sources informing the resource development
In order to inform the resource development, both formal and informal sources can be
used. Under the informal sources, the libraries or study centre provisions can be used which
helps the students in researching about certain topics through fiction or non-fiction books,
magazines etc. Internet resources can be used for informing the specific subject i.e., English
literature and language such as the counselling Tutor website which can help in encompassing
the most comprehensive resource for students in terms of counselling and psychotherapy. The
formal sources can also be used such as advice and guidance from the awarding organisations
(Daniel, Bornstein and Kane, 2018). Also, for enhancing the knowledge and improving the
quality of the project and assignment, the learners are encouraged to consult the English
literature and language journals through the E-learning platform of the Fe college so that they
can retrieve vital information.
Adaption of the resources for inclusive approach
Through the introduction of the paper-based materials according to the ability and the
sensibility of the people and also which the students can use to provide counselling and therapy.
This will help in meeting the needs of them having learning disabilities and difficulties.
Furthermore, the different software can be used along with the online web based instructions
which enable the students to download the different articles related to English language and
literature which can also help in enhancing creativity as well as problem solving aptitude (Dong
and et.al., 2017). The resources must focus on all types of learners such as the language of the

resources can be adapted for students with speech, communication or the language needs for
having the visual skills or support. The timetables can me made usual using the symbols,
pictures, photographs for labelling the equipments and have sort of visual displays of topics
related to English language and literature.
Ways of sharing resources with other professionals
The resources can be shared through identifying the common resources such as the
staffing of resources, number of staff in terms of function, experience, grade, remuneration and
many more along with offering the training opportunities for improving the outcomes which
helps in improving the labour and profitability. Also, intranet can be used for common-user
storage which is shared in the organisation. The best example can be outlook email services
which ensure that the staff and the employees working in the institution can communicate with
each other effectively and in safe manner (Dabbagh and Fake, 2017). Also, social networking
and the published journals can be used such as Facebook where something or the other is shared
or adverted which may be of the interest of other party.
TASK 3
Emergence of technologies for better learning
The emergence of the technologies is one of the best strength and support for the college teachers
as they are explaining a lot of student and it required a lot of ways in explaining different things
and ways in which they can explain th best of the students in there subject. English literature is
the subject which is very important and the teacher need to utilise the best of technologies and
use the graphical and practical way of explaining the student so that the student in the FE college
can understand better and technologies have helped the college and student as well as teacher in
increasing the efficiency of the working in better ways (Veletsianos, 2016).
Employ resources to engage and meet individual needs of learner
It is very crucial for the college to employee the new talents in the college and to make sure they
have the best talent with them so that they can utilise the resources in explaining the best of the
student and make sure they understand the situation and problem they are facing gets eliminated.

Individual learning gets evolve as it helps in better explanation by the technologies and the
teachers are also increasing there skills so that they can utilise them in future for new places. It is
crucial for every individual to utilise the best of everything and develop there skills and learning
in making the best use of resources.
Evaluate the effectiveness of design and use of resources:
The effectiveness of the design of the curriculum and the resources have helped both student and
the teacher in learning the best of the knowledge and skills so that they can utilise the best of the
resources which the college have having. it is crucial for the student and teacher to utilise the
best of resources which have helped in increasing the individual skills and knowledge. Design
help in making the best of the plan for the problems and for student and learner as well.
Identification of strength and areas of improvement
The strength of the English literature teacher is that they are good in explaining the projects and
is in such ways that the student admires their way of teaching as it helps the student in easy way
of learning and the teacher is utilising the best of the technologies in developing the resources in
the process. The areas of improvement include the group presentation and the ways in which the
competition works so that student work hard to deal with things and problem to be solved in such
a way that it helps in increasing the process of development.
Opportunities in improving the skills
There are a lot of opportunity if the skills get improved and it provide a great future for the
lecturer to increase the best of the future as it helps in increasing the resources and it also help
the teacher in reaching to different places in near future. It is very crucial for the new opportunity
to be evolved as it increases new promotion if the skilled are getting to the best. The FE college
will promote the teachers who utilise the resources to the best and it is very crucial for the
company to maintain the best ways in development (Rao and Krantz, 2020).

Review of legal requirements and responsibilities
Legal requirements are very important and it is one of the major responsibilities of Fe college.
Which they need to focus and it is very important related to the development and the use of
resources which the college and the teachers are utilizing in the process of teaching and learning.
the resources need to be used in the best way and it is important to utilize the best legal
requirements so that in near future no illegal actions can be taken against the college and it is
important and it is one of the responsibilities of the Fe college (DeVito, Bacon and Goldacre,
2020). All the requirement and responsibilities are need to be fulfilled by the college and as well
as by the teachers so that the work done in the best ways and the development needs to be
included in better preferences. It is important for their free college to fulfil all the legal
requirement including the paper another required information’s to be filled with all the legal
requirements so that the work never get disturbed and it is also important to have a proper
procedures of all the work so that the work is done in the best ways and in the best manner.

and go about the laws too change things. it is very crucial for them to have the property rights
and other copyrights which tools and resources they are using with their names and it is
important to have the copyrights on all the things which are of there utilization and which are
helping them in increasing the performance of the college. It is very crucial to have the
copyrights related to the property rights and other development issues of the resources which are
helping the College in development and it is very important to have the best utilization of
resources with proper safety (Georg, 2017).

CONCLUSION
The above report focussed on the effectiveness of the specific resources form the area of
English language and literature which can help to meet the needs of different individuals with
different learning styles. It also highlighted the principles of resource design such as SMOG test
of readability. Also, the sources were evaluated which inform the resource development in the
area of English. The report also explored the ways in which resources can be adapted for
enabling the inclusive approach. Lastly the ways were reviewed in sharing resources with the
other professionals of learning.
