3.1 Approaches and intervention available to
support individual
There are different approaches along
with the interventions which provides proper
assistance to individuals. In Macmillan
Cancer Support Charity who provide the
care to patients of Cancer. Various
approaches includes:
 Self help approach: It aid in boosting
or improving condition of person
who are suffering from diseases.
 Advocacy approach: It involves
different methods as well as
approaches which assist in changing
policies so that they can develop or
improve.
 Autonomy and empowerment: It is a
approach which can be used by
Cancer charity for determining the
effectiveness of individuals (Ham,
Dixon and Brooke, 2012).
 Evidence based practice: It is a
approach which helps in expanding
opportunities for the person who are
suffering from Cancer and in this it
shows or determine social
responsibility of community.
The patient always forget to switch off the
gas and there is huge risk of harm from fire
Various interventions are:
Primary prevention: It assist in
reducing the exposure to the factors who
cause Cervical Cancer which includes
environmental carcinogens as well as
lifestyle elements which are related to
physical activity.
Early detection and secondary
prevention: This programme can be conduct
on the basis of population. It aid in reducing
the morality from cervical cancer when they
are using different strategies to control
cancer (Hasson, Blomberg and Dunér,
2012).
Diagnosis prevention: It includes the
different treatments to cancer such as
surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It

assist in increasing emphasis on
improvement of specialized care centre.
Palliative care: It assist in
encompassing the alleviation of symptoms
along with treatments when the person is
suffering from Cervical cancer.
3.2 Evaluate effectiveness of intervention
strategies for individuals
There are different intervention
strategies which are used by Macmillan
Cancer Charity to provide services for the
individuals and these policies help in
reducing disease by providing or delivering
proper treatment for removing the Cervical
Cancer so that individuals can liver their life
happily (Lowes and Hulatt, 2013). Palliative
care as well as cancer treatment which
having an indirect approach so that they can
do proper estimation which is associated
with cost effectiveness of initial Cervical
cancer treatment. They have to do proper
diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy as well as
radiation which helps in attaining best
results.
Some other therapies which they can use
that is Cisplatin based chemo-radiation as it
is more effective while providing treatment
to the patient of Cervical cancer. When they
are using economic model, they should
apply unit cost which assist in allocating
resources so that they can identify and
examine benefits in terms of boosting
survival time (Millar and Hall, 2013).

3.3 Discuss potential impact of emerging
developments
Emerging improvements as well as
developments are essential and necessary for
the individuals who are suffering from
disease that is Cancer and for providing
treatment appropriate technology to be used
along with the medication should be
advance in nature so that they can make
changes in the policies and legislations
which are prepared by regulatory authority
whether it is local or international (Munn-
Giddings and Winter, 2013). This is having
an adverse impact that the person having a
Cervical cancer but it can be resolve from
proper treatment but in this person does not
depend on other individuals.
They have to do evaluation as well as
auditing of equipments and care which they
are providing to the person who are
suffering from Cervical cancer and improve
the areas where they are facing problem
while delivering services. Potential impact
involves all rights which aid in doing
protection of different person. Managers and
employees of Macmillan Cancer Support
Charity have to provide Remedial therapy so
that they can attain proper care and needs
can be fulfilled by adopting proper policies
and delivering better services. It helps in
settling the health of individuals. There are
numerous outside offices which are the
plans for the advancement of the people who
are experiencing medical problems (Ryan,
2010). There are diverse speculations which
depend on the conduct and these give the
indicators of the medical problem and these

hypotheses having the components like
inspiration and self viability.
The methodologies for the suppliers of the
well-being and social issue are especially
feasible. Alongside this they have the
particular conditions and having the
qualities and after that capacities and having
the information for the best possible
correspondence with the well-being and
