Project outcome Vs
project output
From the project point of view it has been
found that, there is a big difference between
the project output and project outcome. As in
case of project management there are four
phases should be followed accordingly such as
initiation, planning, evaluation, monitoring
and closure (Kerzner 2017).
From the lectures slides It has been learned
that, out of one phase is the input for the
very next phase. In other words, the output
defines the steps to be followed during the
project development phases. Gain the
project outcome is the performance level
that has to be considered to meet the
project objectives.
Project planning documentation
Kerzner Chapter 1 Before the finalization of program scheduling
the employees associated to a project should
involve with the project development phases
so that it can accomplish the project
successfully. The steps for the program
schedule include the followings:
Total program schedule for the work
statement
Work breakdown structure
Task and job specification
Milestone schedule
In the personal life project processes the
steps are necessary to be maintained
include the following:
Personal development action plan
Sense of motivation and goal
achievement planning
Implementing better level of
learning techniques
Reflective thinking skills
Project initiation documentation

Certain factors are to be considered for the
successful implementation of any
organizational project. The levels of
complexity are categorized based on size, cost
and resources and requirements for any
project.
In order to reduce the workload from the
project team members the total schedule
should be divided and for each activity
based on skills and knowledge resources
should be allocated (Kerzner 2017). For such
project a single schedule should be
prepared.

IJPM Yes, it is possible the WBS is such a way so
that the resource allocation approach
becomes easier to the project managers and
program managers as well (Kerzner 2017). The
functional manager is responsible to check
and monitor the output generated from the
first three level of WBS and also checks and
compares the expected output with the
project outcome.
In my personal life there was no such phase
where the functional manager over looked
the plan that is preliminarily designed.
There are two different types of conflicts
that may rise in the personal life project
include interpersonal conflict, intrapersonal
conflict.
In order to resolve these conflicts the only
mitigation approach is the discussion.
PMJ With the delivery of a quality product to the
consumers the customer and the contractors
will come to know that the project details are
successfully understood by each other.
Using a performance measurement matrix I
can make sure that the project details are
clear to the stakeholders. I will use social
media approach, open communication and
also meeting accordingly.

SAI Global Based on the project requirements and
objectives the work Breakdown Structure will
be developed and resources will be allotted
for each of the wok package.
In order to accomplish the project
successfully the prepared WBS will be a
combination of time phased and division
phased (Kerzner 2017).

Portfolio Reflection
From the overall learning it has been learned that there is a huge difference between the project outcome and project output. The project outputs defines
the process that the business organizations follow to reach the project activity on the other hand the outcome is a performance level that took place due to
the service and sequential project activities considered by the project managers.
