Academic and social skills are important skills which allow a person for purpose of developing
knowledge and learning. There are different types of academic and learning skills including
presentation skills, communication skill, time management skills which allow individual to
complete their studies in effective manner. These skills also help a person for purpose of
increasing their productivity and also helps them for purpose of development of good career
opportunity. This presentation includes learning process conducting during learning in academic
life. It also consists important of academic and social sills in order to get success at university.

Academic skills can be described as abilities, habits and strategies that provide assistance to
learning in order to get success in academic like. These skills can be developed by capabilities of
students and their technical subjective like science and mathematics. Development of these skills
helps students to improve their learning ability, interact with students taking tests and also for
completing different projects of students. These skills do not only help to academic life of
students but also helps them to apply it to real life as well as in professional settings. On basis of
these skills, a students can complete multiple times. It also allows them to complete assignment
on time and process information quickly in less time which is beneficial for career of a person.

Academic skills are important skills for a student as it will improve productivity of a person in
academic life. It does not only help students to get academic credential but also helps them to
enter in reputed organisation by transferring it to different assignments. Some of these skills
developed by individual while study at university are mentioned below:
Time management skill: It is one of essential skill which is required by a person in order to
organise and schedule their time in effective manner. Individual needs to develop this skill in
their academic life as it allows them focus on their studies in more effective manner. It also helps
them to meet deadlines of project that is important in order to create good impression over tutor.
On basis of this skill, a person is able to complete work on time and also saves time for more
productive work. On basis of it, a person can also improve quality of work and does not create
last moment pressure on them.

Research skill: On basis of study at university, a person also develops research skills that allow
them to conduct research. It is also important for a person to adopt strategies that is important in
order to analyse information in order to find out authentic and relevant information. It provides
different benefits to a person that allow them to conduct research about different topics. It is
required by them to complete assignment with good quality and also using right information in it.
On basis of it, a person can conduct in-depth analysis in business that is important.
Communication skill: It is one of important skills that assist to share information, ideas,
thoughts and other things to another person. On basis of it, a person can interact with other
person at university. It is considered as social as well as academic skills. It is also most required
skill in academic and professional life of an individual. On basis of it, student can score good
marks in exams. It also helps them to be efficient in both oral as well as written communication
and on basis of written communication a person can complete assignment in effective manner
that provide them opportunity to good grades.
Presentation and public speaking skills: Presentation skill is one ability of a person that allow
them to present their ideas and thoughts through power point orally. It will improve their ability
to present something in confident and effective manner. These skills, allow students to
understand how to maintain eye contact with others and also body language in order to take
advantage, engage in assertive communication and also for development effective presentation.
There are different types of presentation given by a person at university that allow them for
purpose of public speaking.

From above mentioned project report, it can be concluded that academic and social skills are one
of important skills. There are different skills included in this like presentation skills,
communication skills, time management skill. There are different strategies to be adopted by a
person for purpose of development of these skills. On basis of it, a person can develop
productivity and also improve efficiency.
