1. Introduction
In recent years, e-book is very famous among the students than the paper book. In the
colleges and Universities, the paper books are replaced by the e-book. The focus group
qualitative research is done by the student to receive the feedback about this transformation
of the library.
2. Discussion
2.1. Process
Focus group qualitative research is selected for this research. This focus group can be
very valuable device for the librarians to create decisions about the distribution of resources
also provision of the facilities as well as for evaluating the efficiency of the programs and
libraries designed for supporting the student education (Krueger, 2014). By this focus group,
the students are asked about their need and by which process they need will fulfil by the
organization. In focus groups, there is a chance to request follow-up the questions, collect
responses or explanation and permits the contestants to interrelate also enlarge on the
responses via interaction and moderation.
2.2. Findings
Equally, the exclusive viewpoints and the perfect themes appeared from all the replies
of contestants participated in the focus group, and they are mutual outcomes of the focus
group thoughts (Kamberelis & Dimitriadis, 2013). All the exclusive replies notify the
understanding of the distinct differences in preferences. Among all the themes which
emerged from this research are discussed below:
i) Particular progressive opinions also concern interrelated to the e-books.

2.3. Other techniques
Involving the researcher defining types of the characteristics of the people and events.
The study of qualitative researchers has the stuffs in their normal settings, attempt to create
the intellect of or understand the occurrences in terms of senses people take along with them
(Corbin & Strauss, 2014). There are many types of qualitative research present, the focus
group is one of them, which is described in this project and also utilise this in this project
(Prasad, 2017). Other than this focus group qualitative research, the other qualitative research
are Interviews, Case studies, Narrative inquiry, Ethnographic Research, Conversation
analysis, Field studies, Participant observation and Phenomenology.
3. Conclusion
From the above research, it can be concluded that the current e-book usage studies
also the focus group contestants’ explanations visibly stated that libraries continue to alter to
the e-books, the consumers themselves are in the alteration. By the feedback of the students
who participate in the focus group research, it is clear that they want the e-book
transformation than the paper book in their colleges or universities.
