the role of each individual within the team and that of the leader of the group to be able to

mass market of middle class. Thus, I am able to keenly identify the segments can help
companies in carrying out segmentation effectively.
There are various tools that can be used to effectively identify the target markets. There are
also various tools with the help of which the trends and preference patterns of the consumers
can be identified. There are tools such as American fact finder, pew research center, my best
segments and also tools from Google such Analytics audience tab, acquisition tab, Google
keyword research and others that can be used to identify and research the issues that are being
used in order to identify the target segments and the potential markets that exist in a said
market.
Segmentation is one of the most important activities that must be carried out in order to satiate
the needs of a company in terms of identification of the needs of the specific market that they
are catering to. Thus, it can be said that the aim of the companies is to gain effectiveness in
operations by ensuring that the employees are being able to carry out operations in accordance
with the segmentation that has been carried out in the market that they are operating in.
Segmentation can be carried out in accordance with various issues such that they have been
able to gain effectiveness in operations with the help of which the companies can effectively
capitalize on the market conditions that exist. I am aware of various companies that have been
successful in segmentation. Nestle is one such company and they have been able to develop a
product portfolio based on the market segments that they have been able to identify. The
