My textbook authors have redefined the corporate social responsibility being extremely
central to the purpose of value creation of a firm. It is founded on the theory of the empowered
stakeholders having argued that the responsibility of a firm is to create the value which is defined
broadly. The future of the companies is envisioned to be full of social responsibilities which are
expected from a corporation. There is an international perspective which is supported by multiple
examples that emphasizes on the multi-cultural challenges of the CSR and then conducting a
business in the global context (Chandler, 2019). The textbooks further bring about the world
issues such as the climate change, the world hunger, the crumbling infrastructure and others. The
solutions are also discussed and provided for tackling the social problems. As a solution, there
has come up the requirement of a collaborative and the productive economic system. The
problems related with the economy and society can be eliminated in a collaborative way in
future. Along with the government, there is the need of different economic paradigm which can
draw on the resources flexibly, through combining the efforts, creating the value and improving
the citizens’ lives. The future way out has been shown through one of the textbooks (Eggers &
Macmillan, 2013). There is the requirement of a unified platform where the government, the
business spectrum, the social enterprises converge in solving the big problems having created a
public value.
As the evidence, there is the blending of the theory along with the practical application.
There is a wide range of the case study examples for illustrating the economic, the organizational
along with the societal issues which are surrounding the CSR. These are the cases which capture
the contentious debates across the CSR topics spectrum which culminate with a series of the
questions that are designed for stimulating the further investigation and the debate too. There is
also the usage of the online resources for investigation , the questions are there for deeper

discussion and analysis. There is also an international perspective which is supported by the
multiple examples conducting the business in the international context. Few of the most
interesting strategies are erasing the private-public sector boundaries. This can benefit the social
problems and develop the commercial value. Also another strategy is through providing the low-
cost healthcare, through fighting the poverty and the creating the renewable energy. This can be
extremely helpful in the making the trade solutions and the social good for filling the gap
between the needs of the citizens and what the government can provide.
I believe that the strategy of the developing CSR culture will be my focus as I develop
my plans in the final papers. I will concentrate on the way I can increase different ideas for
helping the planet and the people so that a better future can be reached soon.
