Introduction
The main objective of this essay is to focus on the reputation of educational courses
offered by the University of Cumberland such as cloud computing course which are useful to
understand the importance of cloud computing in storing and retrieving data for any kinds of
business organizations. (University of the Cumberlands, 2019).
Personal connection
According to me, the cloud computing course which is offered in this university helps in
understanding the importance cloud computing regarding storing, editing, retrieving of data
which are circulated in the working environment of different types of businesses such as finance
and accounting businesses (Botta et al., 2016).
I believe that the cloud computing courses which are offered in the university help me
understanding the importance of the maintenance of good quality products so my role as a
software quality assurance engineers in a financial organization is positively affected due to the
wide range of the subjects offered in my cloud computing course. I made sure that the lessons
learned from the courses are hugely capitalized in my professional life.
Since the consumers of every industry always looks for good quality products and
services so the role of the SQA is very much important so that the growth and productivity of the
organization is maintained (Ali, Khan & Vasilakos, 2015). Concepts of decision making was
learnt from my cloud computing course as well as there are lots of decisions which are needed to
be taken while accessing the cloud based programs (Almorsy, Grundy & Müller, 2016).

PRACTICAL CONNECTION OF COURSE CONCEPTS
According to me, my role as a SQA in a financial organization was very much positively
impacted due to all my knowledge’s which were gathered during my cloud computing course in
the University of Cumberland.
The skills required for the software quality assurance engineers such as time management
skills, software engineering skills, detailed understanding of the queries, database management
system, statistical knowledge and importance of the cloud based storage platforms are obtained
from my cloud computing courses are utilized in the financial organization which I work for
(Rittinghouse & Ransome, 2016). Based on my understanding of cloud computing concepts in
the university such as the Platform as a Service (PaaS), I can apply those concepts in my job as a
software quality assurance engineer.
Conclusion
I believe my skills and capabilities is enhanced to a significant extent with the help of the
professional educational programs offered from this university such as their cloud computing
course and it helped me in professional life as a software quality assurance engineer.
