Bachelor of Science in Computer Science: E-commerce Project, 2020

This project report details the development of an e-commerce website for La BELLE Fashions, a fashion store. The project, undertaken by a student at the University of Eldoret, aims to address the limitations of traditional retail and social media-based sales by creating a comprehensive online shopping system. The report covers the entire project lifecycle, including system analysis (feasibility study, requirements gathering, data collection), system design (process flow, data flow diagrams, UML diagrams, data design), implementation, and results. The project utilizes technologies such as Python, Django, SQL-lite3, Bootstrap 3, CSS, and HTML. The abstract highlights the importance of online shopping in the modern business environment, discusses consumer behaviors, and identifies potential problems in online shopping. The report also includes chapters on literature review, methodology, results, and discussion, culminating in conclusions and recommendations for future development. The goal is to provide La BELLE Fashions with a platform to manage customer orders, increase reachability, and enhance their online presence.
