Overview of the non-profit and the funding request
Non-profit organizations like Supporting Single Parents need funds for organizing
beneficial programs, which assists the single fathers and mothers to give a healthy lifestyle to
their children. However, the personnel need to inform the government as well as the trade union
members for initiating the process of fundraising. Along with this, Grants Commission
authorities need to be notified about the fund request. The major form of this communication is
written, which authenticates the request. Moreover, written communication between the
organizational personnel and the agency partners is a proof, which safeguards the organization
from illegal instances. As the mission of the organization is to educate the single parents about
the effective means to take care of their children, stable partnership with the trade union
members is crucial in terms of averting the tax obligations. Lack of consciousness of the
personnel in this direction would deprive the children from a bright future, increasing the
concerns of the parents.
Description of the program in need of support
Grants of scholarships would benefit the children as well as the children in terms of
having a proper development. Including mid day meals, within this grant, would be an additional
assistance for the children, in terms of getting proper nourishment. This would reduce the
tensions and worries of the single fathers and mothers regarding the needed care, attention and
nourishment. Although the cause of the program is humanitarian, however, in order to achieve
best results, the organization, in collaboration with the agency partners needs to invest in
monetary terms.

Financial information
Finance is one of the most important parameter of which the companies and
organizations need to take special care. The personnel of Support Single Parent need to be extra
cautious in terms of the cash, which is flowing from the inner environment from the external
environment. Herein lays the appropriateness of the software, which automatically keeps track of
the cash and calculates the budget. Planning is of utmost important in the initial stage, which
would include the thoughts regarding proceeding with Trade Union meets (McDonald et al.
2015). This would be followed by the plans of market research for enhancing the knowledge
regarding the latest and the modern machines, which are in demand in the market. Here, the
contents of the market research hold crucial importance in terms of enhancing the financial
information. Flexibility in the basic finance helps the personnel of Support Single Parent of
Supporting Single Parents to move on towards the creation of budgets. Even in this, plans are
required for the provided accurate values to the items and plans. After the creation of estimates,
the values need to be evaluated in terms of assessing their appropriateness, effectiveness and
feasibility in terms of the identified and the specified requirements (Wellens & Jegers 2014).
