INTRODUCTION
A university is defined as an institution in which the learners get facility of higher
learning through teaching and research concepts. Universities are also eligible for allotting the
academic degrees to the students. In other words, it refers to the private or public institutions
which perform the function of providing graduate and undergraduate degrees. It plays an
important role in the bringing improvement in the society because it help the individuals in
getting professional training in order to attaining the jobs of higher level along with the academic
education which is essential for the development of personality of individual. Universities
perform the function of providing training to several people of different professionals which
include teacher, doctor, entrepreneurs and many more. In addition to this, it also leads to the
promotion and development of new skills and abilities along with knowledge in individuals
which is useful for them in getting employment and developing career (Brand and et. al., 2021).
Creation of a university involve several of stakeholders such as community group, government,
staff, students, teachers and many more. Stakeholders are the people who have interest in the
operations and success of university. Stakeholders have right to be involved in the
communication of university in order to measuring the actions and achievements of university.
Through contributing their experience in the management of university, stakeholders can help
them in attaining the strategic objectives as well. All the stakeholders provide feedbacks to the
management in order to adopting the change management process. This report include the
economic impact, social impact and environmental impact of relevant issues which include the
job creation, impact on the city's carbon footprint and sustainability along with the changes to the
demographics of the area.
TASK
The Economic Impact
Establishment or building of university creates several of job profile and provide
employment to lots of people. Labour and material are the important components which have
been require in the construction of university. Creating the structure of building of university
implies the creation of job at the early stage. In the process of construction of universities,
several of people are required such as electrician, painter, plumber, carpenter and many others.
These are the staff members which are require at the time of construction of building or at initial

stage. Once the building construction is finished, the management of university is require to
create more job opportunities for the people which include staff and teachers along with several
professional people for various job profiles such as principle, chairman etc. These staff members
are necessary for the constant running of university. These job profile comes under the
recruitment of professional people (Sun, Luo and Liu 2021). A university also require to hire the
accountant, sweeper, operator, guard, receptionist and many others in order to perform all the
work in an effective and efficient manner. After constructing the building, university have to
appoint higher qualified and educated staff members. It will highly affect the national economy
as the university is providing employment to the educated people. In addition to this, the
university is also require to develop relationship with the several books agency, stationers and
computer operators for the purpose of establishing library and computer lab. All these job
creations are directly related to the decrease in unemployment rate of economy as it provide
several jobs to the people.
Starting a university involve high cost, especially in the early stage, it require lot of raw
material and labour to construct the building. All these expenses which are made during
establishing the university is known as start up cost. This cost majorly include the planning cost,
borrowing cost, research expenses, technology expenses, land, construction expenses and many
more. All these expenses and cost are the pre opening cost of university, whereas the post
opening cost of university include the expenses made on the advertisement and promotion of
university. All the pre opening cost are consider as the long term cost because that is one time
investment. The university is not require to do such expenses again and again. Getting licence
also involve the cost which is also long term cost. But employee expenses, insurances are the
short term cost because the university have to do these expenses again after a particular time
period.
Major source of generating revenue for university is providing the professional training
and knowledge to the general public. Through providing several types of professional training
under one roof helps the university in generating the higher revenue (Cristiano and et. al., 2021).
Local people can also generate the revenue through University as they can open food corners,
restaurants, gym etc. nearby the university so that they can generate the revenue by providing
such facilities to the staff members and students of University.

The Environmental Impacts
Students across the world are going green and encouraging the movement for spreading the
universities as well. In order to protect the planet, several of universities have also developed a
plan regarding the same. The university can design the building as green or reduce the wastage in
the University campus. It help the university in stepping in the green zone. It has been found as
necessary for the university to develop the comprehensive sustainable strategy in order to
insuring the environmental aspects on University. It is also necessary for the University to take
the commitment of net zero along with the absolute zero emissions. It helps the university in
making effective sustainability in the society. Building of university is surrounded by the green
garden and it also contributes to the greenhouse gas emission. This greenhouse gas emission
produces on campus by burning gas and through the use of electricity to generate power. All
these actions lead to the development of sustainable goals and implementing the sustainability
plans.
The building of University has been designed in such a manner, so that it gives the view
of greenery to the staff members and learners. The management of university has also
established a power renewable plant which generates the energy for the use of University. That
energy can be renewable in the same plant. It results in the stoppage of wastage of energy and
the university can get lots of energy to use (Wang, Guo and Li 2022). The University has also
committed to a net zero carbon institution in the coming some years for all its carbon emissions.
It will result in the reduction of use of energy up to 40%. The sustainable approach for building
design is recognized globally.
It is necessary to be the efficient building of university because of the constant change in
climate. The sustainability in the designing of building and course of engineering tells about the
technical design and engineering associated with the delivery of project. The university has to to
consider all the measures with the several key modulus such as sustainability, climate change,
and healthy buildings along with the passive design systems. It has been found as important to
analyze and develop the integrated building and energy technologies in order to developing the
sustainable building strategies and to achieve them in the efficient manner. Air pollution mainly
cause during the process of construction of building because of increase in the presence of
several dust particles in the local environment. From and estimate it can be said that construction
of a building contributes approximately 23% of air pollution 50% of landfill wastes and about

of University result in the exploits of several resources and many of them are non-renewable. It
also produces dioxide gases in the air which result in the the global warming. In the raw material
of construction of building, several of chemicals have been used by the workers which are found
as highly harmful for the workers along with the surrounding environment. It is necessary to take
effective and necessary measures for preventing the pollution.
The Social Impacts
University is a covering a wide demographic area as the university is providing
professional training and knowledge to the global students. Because of their worldwide presence,
the university can attract the talent to from globally and as a result the demographic area will be
changed. Global talent result in the creation of more smart and talent in the people. It has been
also analysed that the university is playing an important role in developing the international
relationship which also leads to the boosting of economy. It also result in the strength of
community as it leads to the development of society. On the other hand it also bring several of
challenges for the university as University is providing education and knowledge to the people so
that they can improve their living standard along with getting a good job for employment.
Change in the demographic also result in enhancing the knowledge and employment
opportunities (Shamout, Boarin and Wilkinson 2021). University is providing several of courses
under one roof. Along with this, the professional people of University are covering the wide
range of education and knowledge to enhance the skills and abilities of their students. It resulted
in the attraction of several people towards the university which result in feeling all their seats and
influence the management to innovate new stream of education so that they can build the career
of students. The university is also using the advanced system of technology for providing the
education to their students and for the purpose of cope up from the challenge of changing
environment. . They should take care of all the precautions on the construction site. And after
construction university should provide proper health and safety to their staff, teachers, students
and other employees. They should provide proper environment in which they work and also take
care of all the safety needs. University have to take care of all the precaution measures of all the
individual who are present and provides insurance to the employees, staff, guard and other
personnel who are engage in the university.

Change in the demographics of the area result in the increase in opportunities for the
university and people as well. With the change in demographics, the University can increase
their educational stream for the purpose of attracting higher students to take admission in the
university. University is also required to hire the staff members within the increase in the courses
they are offering. It also provides the employment opportunity to the local people and the
international talent.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that the university is providing a higher
level of education to the people. University is a providing a wide range of educational stream to
the people and the students can take the admission according to their interest. Establishment of
University also result in the creation of job opportunities which directly affect the economy of
country. Establishment of a University include several pre and post establishment cost which are
considered as the long and short term course which help the university in generating the revenue
in the future. By providing job opportunities to the people, University can bring some changes in
the society as the employment leads to the change in the living standard of people which directly
affect the economy of country. University can generate the revenue by providing professional
training to the individuals who enrolled themselves in the university. The university is offering
several courses to the students and they can select any of course according to their interest.

RECOMMENDATIONS
 Opportunities for revenue generation: establishment of University directly leads to the
generation of revenue. The university is providing several of courses in order to attractive
the huge number of individuals. University has the opportunity to create new professional
courses in order to enhancing the growth of University and attracting more students.
Providing various courses under one roof is the positive aspect which work as the
opportunity for them for generating the revenue. They are also required to use the
advanced technology file teaching students as it will satisfy the individuals. It worked as

the promotional tool of University as the individuals helps in inviting the other people to
get involved in any particular course.
 Use of sustainable resources: it is necessary for the university to use the sustainable
resources as it will not pollute the environment. They are required to take care of the
water dust and air in the construction process because it has been found that majorly the
construction process causes environment pollution. They are highly recommended to use
the renewable reusable and recyclable resources again and again. Sustainable resources
do not harm the environment in any case. In contributing in the improvement of
environment also leads to the creation of good reputation in the market. It is also
necessary for the university to design the building in such a manner so that it do not harm
the economy and use the resources in an effective and efficient manner.
 Use of health and safety measures: it is also recommended to the university to use the
health and safety measures from the time of construction to the operations. In the process
of construction, University has to take all the necessary measures to prevent the accidents
and use all the equipments carefully. After starting operations in the university, they are
required to develop eco friendly environment which do not harm the local people as well.
