I would like to work at the University of Kent because I am so much interest in working
as a immigration compliance manager. I have 2 years of full time working experience as a
compliance officer. In addition to it, I also worked for the same designation for 1 year at British
Institute of technology and e commerce. I want to work with this university as I have good work
experience of the stated designation. I consider myself fit for this job because I am well versed
with the roles played by an immigration officer. In context to this, I am able to communicate
over technical informations and in complex situations. As per my past experience, I worked as
full time employee in this filed which assisted me to get good practical knowledge of this area.
For my career development. I would like to work with university as it will help me to develop
my career with the help of learning. This stated designation demands ample of knowledge which
I gained in my past experiences. I have good amount of theoretical and practical knowledge as
well. In addition to this, I have good IT skills with good knowledge of excel and Microsoft.
Besides this, my past experience of immigration officer gave me wide opportunity to learn and
know the practical aspects and requirements of this field. In addition to this, presently I am
getting training so that I can be a immigration advisor. The job description provided by the
university matches with my current knowledge and skill. Working with this institution will
provide an assistance to my career to achieve my personal goals. It will also widen my
theoretical and practical knowledge so that my aim of being immigration advisor will be
attained.

For the position of Compliance manager, I consider myself a relevant candidate because I
have an experience of 2yaers of full time immigration compliance job and and 1 year of part time
job as compliance officer. In addition to it, I have good knowledge of banking and finance which
assisted me to gain good knowledge of financial matters. In my 2 year of compliance job I
gathered good knowledge of working actively with the CAS issues, suspensions and
withdrawals, monitoring progresses. In addition to it, I used to conduct institutional audits which
remain useful to analyse the actual environment. I also have an experience of providing trainign
to the staff with related to the compliance issues. Here, I offered them guidance to create
awareness student services and academic affairs. During my job, I also worked as a immigration
coordinator where I offered student services in all the aspects. On other hand, during my 1 year

job at British institute of technology and e commerce. I worked as a immigration compliance
officer. Here I performed different duties like primary and secondary in order to coordinate with
the functions of University. In secondary functions, I gained knowledge of student recording
system. As a compliance officer, I had to ensure of all the proceeding of university and its
operations. This has resulted into enhanced knowledge for the current designation with requisite
areas. In addition to this, I took participates in academics activities in order to conduct events. I
also attended external meetings and certain events on behalf of the university. This has provided
me the requisite knowledge of managing events. It also helped me to raise my work experience

To work as compliance manager, I have good communication skills. As I have my own
experience of being a student, I have good theoretical knowledge of this field. In addition to it, as
I have 1 year of work experience of immigration compliance officer, there I developed difference
skills in order to improve my work. My IT skills are excellent as I used to focus on students
website in order to provide detailed work structure of the University. Being a officer, I had to
supervise the whole process of operations at University. In addition to it, my planning and
organizing skills are also good. I managed the whole administrative process of the university. It
has helped me to enhance my knowledge and skills for this work.
When I was at British institute of technology and e commerce, I had to deliver training to
the freshers in order to make them understand about the compliances. In context to this, my
influential skills are also well developed. For this present job, an experience of 3 years will help
me to attain the stated duties and roles of Kent university. I also problem solving skills for this
stated designation. At my past job experience, there were some issues raised during the
university but I solved and managed the situation. In addition to it, I have good decision making
skill. In my past job, I used to take decision with regarding to student migration system. In
context to this, I have good human resource management skills as I used to conduct recruitment

deadlines. At my last job, initially I used to work in teams where I adopt flexible approach while
working in a teams. I am also good at explaining and delivering requisite information to the
students and staff as well. This assist the organization to render the appropriate information
within the university in an effective manner. As I worked in British institute which is one of the
know university of UK. I have a part time job experience of that place which may remain helpful
for adding value to my career. I am also well versed with monitoring and supervising where I
used to monitor the work of other departments. This helped me to remover the conflict and issues
raised at the university premises. I also have good amount of experience of working over
administrative operations where accuracy and accomplishing deadlines are required. In my past
job, when it was required I used to work for additional hours during peak time to attain the
organization needs. In addition to it, for the stated designation if travailing required to visit
university sites then I will be ready.
There are some more skills like I am able to work in changing environment. Or it can be
said that I am flexible with changed working environment. I have positive attitude towards my
work because I never get pressurised with the extra work. My passion for this work makes me

A) Immigration Compliance officer: At British institute I worked for 1 year as a immediately
compliance officer. At this designation, I had to perform several duties and responsibilities such
as primary and secondary. In primary functions, I acted as a key contact for the home officer in
behalf of the university obligations. In addition to it, I also worked with seniors and managers of
university in order to develop and implement the university policies. I also used to manage the
day to day activities ion order to ensure the compliances regarding administration work. I was
also responsible for the recruitment of international students. Here, I had to supervise the

students participation and attendance in the university. I used to form the reports that are required
by the officers. In addition to this, I used to maintain the web pages of the university in order to
update student's and staff informations. Being a part of management, I used to conduct events
and workshops in the university premises. As a compliance officer, I used to gather compliance
data and forwarded it to the management of university with recommendations. My major focus
was to be updated with the changes occurred in immigration laws and resolutions. I also worked
with student administration office where I used to analyse the options and improvements that can
implemented to enhance the student record system. Being a compliance officer, I had to keep
records of university processes in order to ensure the proper accomplishment of primary
functions. All theses responsibilities and duties are performed by me as a compliance officer.

B) PhD Research: PhD student is responsible for the completion of the degree at appropriate
time. For the progress of career academic programme and thesis is prepared. As a researcher I
had to take the guidance of my supervisor. The PhD research is conducted in order to gain
knowledge of the taken subject. However, over the taken subject report is prepared and formed
which must be checked by the supervisor. The supervisor gives a report to the student about the
work done. The duty of the student is to prepare the thesis with clear ideas and requisite material.
This will help the supervisor to check the thesis and analyse their position. As a researcher, I has
to make sure of data and information collected should be accurate and from reliable. This
research process helped me to raise my knowledge. In context to this, it also helped me to gain
appropriate level of knowledge over the taken subject. Further, I had become expertise, I skipped
directly to the publications. This subject has provide an assistance to improve my career goals.
C) Hospital theatre support worker: Further, I also worked as a support worker at hospital
theatre. I wanted to enhance my knowledge and skills so I changed my career to heath related
subject. This has helped me to increase my career opportunities in order to attain my career
goals. Here, I worked in the operation department of the health care organization. As a health
care worker, I had to deal with patients during their operations. The patients who were anxious
or concerned about the operations, I used to help them out. As per this job profile, I collected
patients from different wards and transform them to the theatre. In addition to this, I also make

sure of the surgical instrument. Whether they are properly placed or not was my responsibility.
For this designation, good communication skills was required. I had a caring and concerned
