Research needed knowledge for the academic
perspective and it will be gathered from different
sources. Such resources help the user collect knowledge
and use them to the actual results in an acceptable
manner. This approach contains, along with its benefit
or drawback, the three main kinds of tools such as
magazines , journals and the online source.

Books
Students can collect information which helps in learning, facts
or statistics are accurate in existence as well as the simplest
thing to get the relevant information about the subject, with
the help of book.
Advantage:
• It is the quickest and easiest way for everyone's further
researches to collect relevant data and it will provide the
validity.

It is very hard to extract information from books
because they need to read the whole book for the fine
details.
It is time consuming activity to collect data, various writers
offer different opinions about which the individual may
find it difficult to choose from.

Journals
It contains the different articles by various writers or
academics that aid in presenting information from a
variety perspectives.
Advantage:
• They are exceptionally reliable and have consistency of
the evidence they reflect. Journals also illustrate the
details using relevant instances.

• It is difficult to collect massive data in papers,
meaning that there is a cap of information that any

Students can gather information from electronic source from
various websites in this learning platform and it also

Advantage:
• Easy to connect with other people and it is the value-
effective way of collecting knowledge, data and evidence.

No guarantee is provided whether data is right or not as everyone
can post data to the web. The reliability is difficult to test but
not hard.
Before obtaining information through online databases, the
publishing year needs to be reviewed separately because
although outdated information was not useful to the researcher.
