INTRODUCTION
There are number of document and material that is required by a person in order to conduct
task in effective manner (Englund and Graham, 2019). The content and material can be
generated through class or independent study. It is crucial for a person to develop an effective
portfolio as this will assist in gaining success. University is provided various resources which
can be used for development and growth of a person so that they can accomplish personal or
professional objectives. This report will include different documents which are include in
creation of portfolio. Apart from this most effective portfolio is determined.
MAIN BODY
Different types of documents
There are different types of documents which can be used by a student to create a useful
portfolio.
1. SWOT analysis – This can be describe as the method or technique which can be used by
a organisation in order to determine its strength, weakness, opportunity and threat.
Through this approaches a company will be able to determine internal and external
environment as well as take correct decision as per the requirement of organisation. By
using SWOT analysis business internal environment such as its capability and different
area which need to be improve by organisation can be determine easily. Along with this
organisation will be able to analyse different opportunity which can be attain by business
by enhancing its strength as well as overcoming weakness. With the support of this
approach business will be able to determine different threat in external environment
which can have negative impact on business.
2. Reflective learning – This term refer as the learning of a person that is gain by analysing
and evaluating own experience. This is one of the effective and efficient methods which
can be used by person in order to increase their understanding and knowledge (Convery
and et.al., 2019). In the process of reflective learning a person will determine all the
aspects of what they have learned along with their understanding on the topic. this is
consider to be a very useful approaches as in this an individual will be able to determine
about their experience and what they have feel during that experience. It is crucial for a
learner to use reflecting learning approach in order to increase their capability.

3. Communication skill – This is one of the crucial skill that is required by a person in
order to improve their capability and performance. Communication skill can be describe
as the skill which is required by a person in order to improve the way of transferring
message and well as conveying thoughts in more creative manner. this skill play a
significant role in enhancing personality of a person as well as help in creating strong
relationship with other people. By improving communication skill a person will be able
to increase its performing in academic course and in organisation also.
4. Employability - The term employability consist of the set of skills and capability which
is required by a person in order to become more suitable for working in organisation.
Employability is very effective in making an individual in such a manner that they can
influence recruiter as well as able to attain idea job role (Halberstadt and et.al., 2019). It
is essential that a person or student have employability skill as this assist in increasing
their performance and productivity. there are number of skill that is includes in
employability such as communication, critical thinking, time management ,
organisational skill and so on.
5. References – There are different types of referencing that can be used by a person in
order to make report more authentic and accurate. Referencing can be define as the
footnote or bracketed piece of information that is included in the text of writing. This is
essential for providing acknowledge to the written content as well as denote the
secondary method is used in the report. Different types of referencing have several rules
which needs to be followed by individual in order to provide more effective report.
Referencing style includes Harvard, APA and many more.
6. Plagiarism – Plagiarism is a team which can be describe as the similarity in thoughts,
ideas or any kind of work. This can be due to copy of some other work and representing
it as own work (Lyu and et.al., 2019). The activity of plagiarism can be consider as
dishonesty towards work or unethical practice of conducting task. It is very crucial for a
person to understand the concept of plagiarism as well as avoid performing such type of
activities. In academic course or working in organisation a person do not use someone
else work or through with or without their consent in order to represent it as own work.
This is unethical activities and a punishable task which will lead to have negative impact
on performance of individual.

7. Paraphrasing – This can be describe as the way in which person is able to rephrase the
sentence or a paragraph. Paraphrasing is one of the important learning of academic study
and in this duration student may have to paraphrase the content which is already written.
It is crucial that paraphrasing activities does not include similar sentence or paragraph.
This can be describe as the capability of a person to re written the whole content in own
words which only show the same meaning not the word. The main purpose of
paraphrasing is to represent the ideas and though in own words in order to express the
same meaning.
8. Notes – There are different content and material that is provided by teacher in class room.
This material can be describe as note which contain important information and
knowledge in order to increase the learning of student. Notes can be refer as the
document which is developed in order to keep record of important topic, leaning and
other information. A student can develop their own notes by independent study. It has
been determined that notes will lead to have major impact in performance of learner and
this will assist in providing guidance for increasing information and knowledge.
9. Introduction - Introduction can be define as starting of any topic which will include
basis information. In report writing introduction is the beginning and in this part of
content accurate information regarding the detail what will be included in further content
is explain (Schonert-Reichl, 2019). It is very important for a person to create an impactful
and meaningful content in the introduction of any topic as this will help in creating
effective impression on audience. In this introduction part different elements regarding
what is the project, importance of topic and need of creating the project should be clearly
mention as this will assist in attracting the audience towards the whole content.
10. Conclusion – This can be represent as the last phase of the topic and this will include the
sum up of the whole content. It is crucial for a person to gain understading about
conclusion in order to complete the project in most effective or creative manner. A
conclusion should include the summary of all the things which is represented in the above
content as well as able to showcase the information in such as manner that it is easy for
audience to make a judgement on the basis of conclusion.
11. Critical analysis - This is the method or approach which is use by person in order to
critically evaluate and analyse the information. Critical analysis include gaining in depth

related to the topic. By critical analysis better information about the topic could be gain
and this will assist in accurate decision making process. It is essential for a learner to
identify positive and negative aspects of the content in order to critically evaluate the
information.
12. Data interpretation – This can be describe as the process which is used by person in
order to represent that data in more informative manner. Data interpretation can be define
as the way in which data is analysed and process in effective manner in order to gain
better understanding about the topic. Through this approach a person will be able to
determine the significance and implications. There are various method which can be used
by person in order to interpretation the data as well as characterize the information in
more easy to understandable manner.
Summary of explanation of the Portfolio contents
It has been determined that there are various number of documents which are included in the
process of creating portfolio. There are different types of portfolio such as physical portfolio and
E- portfolio. Both of these are very useful for a person in order to gain better understating about
the topic. In physical portfolio a person will record and gather different types of document is a
folder which can be use in further (Williams and Karen, R., 2019). I have analysed that E-
portfolio is a very creative manner for assembling larger number of documents at one place. This
will includes collection of files, documents, images, videos, assessment and other material that is
generate through classroom material or independent study. I have analysed that it is crucial to
keep portfolio is correct manner as this will assist in increasing knowledge and along with this
learning experience of a person will be enhanced. Content which is assembled in E- portfolio can
be use by learner any time from any where. This is very easy method to store the data as well as
share it with other if required. In this portfolio various documents are analysed and evaluated in
order to understand different document in correct manner. For the all of the above mention
documents I consider that communication skills and reflective learner is very useful method
which should be used in correct manner in order to gain maximum benefits. Communication is
very important skill which assist me in performing academic task in better manner as well as
support in meeting with desired goals of organisation. By developing this skill I will be able to

method such as Gibbs model and so on. This is crucial and significant process of learning as it
allow learner to improve academic skills.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that portfolio includes different documents which
can be gather through study material that is provided in classroom or the information that is gain
by independent study. Communication skills and reflective learning are very important and this
will support a person in improving capability and performance.
