INTRODUCTION
Knowledge is defined as the information which an individual gain through experiences of
our and others. Any kind of information or study which is experienced by a an individual is
considered as knowledge (Crawford, 2016). Creativity is basically the act of turning ideas,
imaginations and thoughts into real aspect. Creativity is acknowledged by the ability of a person
to perceive a task in different manner. If a person do not possess sufficient amount of creativity
and knowledge then attaining academic goals is not possible. This assignment is going to
mention about the reason and rationale for adopting specific content for portfolio. These reasons
will helps in identifying the benefits which learner will be gain after using the selected material.
Other than this, information about selected context is discussed so that their use in future
learning can be acknowledged.

In order to work on this portfolio, different kind of content is used. The selected topic
posses various merits which will allow me to became a good learner and adopting various
aspects so that my learning growth will not be compromised in any manner. To work on this
portfolio I have selected the content related to communication skills and effective
communication skill. By working on this, I will learn new aspects due to which my interaction
with other persons will be improved and I will be able to learn new aspects in a simplified
manner. Also, academic writing and academic reading will be given preference in this portfolio
(Del Monte and Pennacchio, 2019). These aspects helps me in understanding the manner by
which my academic content can be improvised and I can learn new aspects in more reliable
manner.
Team work will help me in becoming more tolerant towards diversity and different
opinions due to which I will be able to learn from the experiences of other people appropriately.
Time management skill is beneficial for me to complete my work in a timely manner so that I
will not miss important deadlines. Also, I have selected research skills as they will help me in
gathering only accurate and reliable information. This will allow me to accomplish my work
with highest quality. Other than this, I have chosen SWOT analysis so that I can acknowledge
strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities of a topic or own-self in a proper manner. This

which have created that content (Jahnke, Haertel and Wildt, 2017). By this, I will be able to
perform my work in a legal manner. In case of Feedbacks, they helps a person to acknowledge
the opinion of other about their work. With the help of feedback, I will be able to carry out
needed modifications in my work so that high productivity and efficiency can be attained.
