INTRODUCTION
The skills audit is an appropriate procedure to assess the skills of the individual to
analyse the potential knowledge gaps. This study will highlight on the key significant skills
which are needed to succeed within the university.
MAIN BODY
Team work skills
Teamwork skills are referred to as the abilities and qualities which helps the individual to
work well with the other people at the time of project, collaborations and meetings (Armitage,
2018). Effective teamwork skills is considered to be vital for cooperating with the people and
using the skills of the individual to attain common goal.
Teamwork skills is crucial for the students because it helps them in teaching various set
of social and communication skills like better speaking and active listening. The key relevant
importance of the teamwork skill is to help students in confidently and respectfully expressing
the opinions and ideas within the group setting (Carey and et.al., 2017). This teamwork facilities
is considered to be highly beneficial because for the student because it leads to development of
the valuable skills like compromise, communication and collective efforts which helps in
effectively dealing with the diverse people in an effective manner.
Currently, I think I am very good at dealing with the diverse team group. I have effective
collaboration skills and have respect towards each member within the group. I can clearly outline
the significant roles and responsibilities which has to be carried out within the business. I
sometimes have difficulty in communicating my ideas in an accurate and relevant manner to the
group members. I have effective decision making capability and I can also influence the other
person to select the appropriate idea to attain the common goals and objectives of the project.
Encouraging socialization and also cultivating open communication is one of the key
significant measure which is useful in improving the teamwork skills (Zubaidah, and et.al.,
2017). This way it will help me in sharing the key ideas with the group members in a significant
and reliable manner. Recognizing the good work of the individual within the team ad organizing
the team process is also one of the significant measure which helps in improving the teamwork
skills within the individual.

Note taking is one of the prominent practice which is useful n systematically recording
and noting down the information which has been noted down by a writer. It is one of the most
powerful aid which helps in summarizing the class lecture by writing down the crux points. This
is one of the key skills which helps the students in taking accurate and clear notes within the
class lectures (Montgomery, and et.al., 2017). This skill is useful in taking accurate and legible
notes which is useful for the future reference.
Effective note taking skills are important because it helps in recording, writing and
remembering the key relevant notes which are considered to be necessary for developing deeper
understanding related with the lecture presented in college (Plant, Barac and Sarens, 2019). It
will also help the students in effectively developing better and deeper set of understanding and
helps in recalling the key information which has been mentioned in the class.
Currently, I think I have good note taking skills because I tend to note down series of
notes and information which has been given by the lecture in the class. This way it helps me in
developing better understanding related with the subject matter. This helps me in the
examination and keeping relevant information with me. This helps me in not missing out on
important information.
In order to improve the note taking skills, the student must not write down every single
word which has been spoken by the lecturer within the class. It is very important for the writer to
be highly consistent at the time of noting down the notes in the class (Plant, Barac and Sarens,
2019). The writer or the student must always take use of symbols and abbreviations at the time of
note taking within the classroom. The students must always note down the key relevant
information and recording of the examples which has been quoter by the lecturer in classroom.
Presentation skills
These are referred to as the key relevant skills which is useful in delivering engaging and
effective presentation to the large number of audience in the college (Zubaidah, and et.al., 2017).
Presentation skills tends to cover wide set of areas like the structure of the presentation, tone of
your voice, design of the slides and body language. It is useful in persuading, motivating and
inspiring to build good set of work.
Effective presentation skills are considered to be of utmost importance because it is
significant in keeping the presentation more interesting and catching attention of the audience

communicate with the large number of audience.
I have effective presentation skills because I have given presentation in my academic
year which has helped me cater the attraction and keeping the audience engaged till the end. The
presentation skills are prominent within me as I have the capability to develop attractive
presentation and also to make the audience understand the points upon which the presentation
has been given.
To develop appropriate posture and body language while communicating with the
audience. The student must always be enthusiastic while addressing the audience in order to keep
them engaged (Allison, and et.al., 2016). Maintain proper eye contact is an effective way which
helps in improving presentation skills. Keeping open communication and asking questions to the
audience helps in in delivering interactive presentation.
CONCLUSION
This study concludes that, teamwork skills helps students in college to confidently
express the opinions and ideas within the group setting. Note taking skills helps in developing
deeper understanding related with the lecture presented in college. Effective presentation skills
helps in boosting up the confidence level of the student by communicating with the large
number of audience.
