Academic skills are a set of academic achievement, learning methods, and problem
solving techniques that help students learn and retain information in school. In order for students
to truly master these concepts, teachers also incorporate academic skills in their lessons. The
main aim of this report is to study and learn various things by using various resources. As this is
done because in order to develop skills so that they can perform better. The report includes
concept of personal and professional development and also include the short, medium and long
term goals with example. There is personal development plan which is mainly done when people
identify their weak skills. So, that they can identify their weak skills and overcome by reading
books, online courses, communicating with other and so on. In this way they can enhance their
skills by planning the short, medium and long term goal.

with assistance, direction, and suggestions. When a more experienced individual uses their
deeper understanding and knowledge of the job or environment to assist a junior or novice
employee in their growth. It's also a type of internship, in which a novice discovers the "tricks
and tips" from a more experienced coworker. In other words, it can be said that, professional
growth entails immersing yourself in your work to fully comprehend what you're doing and how

for the day, week, month and more. It provides motivation to people and inspire them to put
more efforts in order to achieve something big. Long term goals are likely to take years to get

successes play an imperative role in keeping an individual motivated. So, it is vital to have short
term goals as it stimulated people to achieve something in life. These goals need to prepare after
