SOAR is an acronym for Strength, Opportunities, Aspiration and Results and this
analysis is referred as a strategic planning tool or technique. It helps an individual to focus on
personal strength and opportunities. SOAR also assist to create a vision for future aspiration and
the results it will lead to bring. The soar analysis is conducted in the present report for an
individual university student who is studying Bachelor of Teaching and majoring in early
childhood and primary discipline. The soar analysis is conducted so that individual can
understand his personal skills and strength in better way and also can identify future
opportunities.
MAIN BODY
SOAR Analysis
This analysis act as a powerful technique for individual as they can recognize self potential
or strength and can also create vision for future effectively. SOAR analysis is conducted in order
to find out my personal strengths and skills so that I can focus on becoming a competent student
and an impactful teacher (Gallagher and Lopez, 2018, pp.114). Soar analysis will provide me
with guidelines and directions for becoming a successful university student and also pinpoint
future opportunities, aspirations and brings out better results.

Strength refers to skills that I have and it can be reflected through my character and past
experiences. My strengths are that I am self-discipline student, I posse’s good leadership and
time-management skill (Cole, Cox and Stavros, 2018, pp.4). I can bring out innovative and
creative ideas and I also posses’ good wisdom and understanding of different subjects. My
strength are that I can do well in directing and guiding people regarding problem solving as I can
see things through using different perspectives and I can also follow through various strategy for
reaching an effective and appropriate solution.
Opportunities refer to the best potential option for me and that makes it possible for me to
become competent university student and a successful teacher. Through analysing my skills and
strengths, I came to know that I need to work on nurturing my emotional quotient and also
change my impatience behaviour and tempered or strict nature. So that, I can gain opportunity of
becoming flexible, loving and a peaceful teacher (Bernstein, 2018, pp.524). Regular study habits,
student attitude, academic readiness and motivation are considered as the controlling aspects or
factors that can lead to bring great opportunity for me to accomplish my goals and targets.
Aspiration refers to ambition or hope for accomplishing something. My aspiration is to
become a successful teacher of an early childhood and primary school. Through the university
studies, I aim at having a better way of understanding children’s perspective and also a better of
teaching and guiding children. Effectively reflecting on my strengths and opportunities, I am
aware of differences between wrong and right and I can also work or act in accordance with what
is right. My general goal is to become a teacher that brings great and positive impact and
influence of the students. Therefore, my aspiration is becoming a competent and successful
university student who graduates for becoming impactful teacher and would inspire and also
assists effectively the next generations.
Results are considered as the consequences or outcomes of something. I decided to become
a university student so that I can graduate and gain some skills and knowledge that helps me to
become a successful and impactful teacher (Smith, 2018, pp.8). Developing realistic study
process and plan and effectively implementing it will results in achievement of goals. The
realistic plan needs to be based on my aspirations, skills, strengths and honest reflection of self
analysis. The reflection insights help me for preparing in better way and also to remove the
