“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma
– which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s
opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow
your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become.
Everything else is secondary.” – Steve Jobs
This quote has attracted me since the first time I came across the quote in a business and
entrepreneurship book in our college library. It was since that day that I had made up my
mind. I wanted to follow in the path showed by Steve Jobs, who is also one of my idols. The
interest in Entrepreneurship has always encouraged me to follow in the path that will lead me
to becoming one of the entrepreneurs of the future. And that is why I have always loved the
subject of Business and Entrepreneurship.
I did my +2 from Christ College with my major being in PCMB. Apart from this I’ve
completed my Civil engineering degree from M S R I T – Ramaiyyah Institute of
Technology, affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology in Belgaum.
I would like to state that that I believe the fact that liberation is equal to development and
that if I am determined to follow the right motivation with the right conduct, I will able to
change my destiny.
I might say for myself that the success that I had derived till this point is because of the
knowledge that I have gathered during my schooling and college days. I can confirm that this
knowledge has helped me in gaining confidence about the activities that I indulge myself in.
Apart from this, I have developed a good command of English in both reading and its written
forms. This is due to the fact that the knowledge from the school helped me to be good in my
academics as well build a strong sense of logic, reasoning and fundamental beliefs. I strongly

feel that I have achieved all I can in this level and now I feel its time to go to the next level to
gather more knowledge about M.Sc. in Entrepreneurship Innovation and Enterprise
Development – the subject that I want to enrol myself in your University.
During my class presentations and my assignments, it is confidence which has helped me in
achieving success. As such, I consider it to be one of my strongest qualities. Whenever I was
given any assignments to complete, I could finish it confidently without facing any problems.
I not only managed to complete the assignments given to me but also successfully pass my
examinations and gain a good score in the final examination of our college. I have
confidently passed all my college semesters and projects and assignments with flying colours.
All these achievements have helped me to realize my full potential to enroll in the course that
I want to in your esteemed university. This is because I believe enrolling in your university
would give me a chance to learn more about the subjects that I would like to add to to my list
of knowledge gathered. I feel that by joining your college, I would get the oppurtunities that I
am looking for. These oppurtunities would help me in becoming more developed in my life
and developing a successful career for myself.
I also realized during my internships and full time employment that confidence is a must for
all employees for joining internships and part time employments. During my internship
period, I successfully completed my tenure with the company by working and fulfilling their
requirements. This also have been possible by the help of confidence. All these achievements
of mine has made me believe that one can achieve anything with the help of confidence.
During this time, I have also had the experience of working full time as the GM of a chain of
restaurants owned by the Star Classification Group. As a GM, there, my job was to look to
the satisfaction of the clients and to make sure that the companies are earning their profits
simultaneously. This step involved meticulously understanding the needs and the demands of

the clients so that they can be satisfied by the services that they get from the company. Apart
from that, my other function was to ensure that the restaurants are engaging themselves in
producing the best quality foods possible for the clients themselves. I find it important to
inform that during my working there, the company had an increase in its GDP from 24% in
2017 to 39% in the last financial year (2018-2019%). Apart from that, I also had another
significant achievement during my working in the company. Our company was ranked 51 out
of 962 hotels in Bangalore. I feel that these are important achievements that I have managed
to acquire myself and all of this due to the education and the experiences that I have gained
from my internship period.
I have certain requirements to fulfil keeping in mind my achievement goals and these are to
work as much as I can to build more experiences so that I can reach a fruitful position in my
career. The more better positions I can reach for myself, the better experiences I will be able
to build for myself to help me in the workplaces that I intend to work.
All I need is a chance in your esteemed university to find those oppurtunities that I am
looking for. I am sure that if I get the required opportunity, I will be able to meet your
expectations to the best of my capabilities. I will not only be able to excel in every
opportunity you provide me with, but also will be able to develop myself into a more
experienced individual for the workplace. These are exactly the reasons why I want to enroll
myself with the programme of M.Sc. in Entrepreneurship Innovation and Enterprise
Development at the esteemed University of Westminster, London.
