INTRODUCTION
It is very important for student to enhance their skills and knowledge for attainment of
their personal as well as professional success and growth (Alt, 2015). This is essential to develop
and increase their academic study and skills for better results. In this regard, university should
focus on improving their students skills and provide them direction to attain goal. The main
purpose of this assignment is to provide better services to students and they should focus on
learning new and different things from university. This help them to develop their career and
creates opportunity to get good jobs.

them support whilst they are students. They will be asked to reflect upon when they and/or
their peers might access
I am the student of university which focus on providing different services as well as
courses to different students. The main purpose of joining university is to gain knowledge,
enhance experience as well as skills to develop oneself. As I am pursuing course of management
from university for different reasons. Firstly, I want to know more about theoretical knowledge
about management and secondly to improve my skills and knowledge in appropriate way. Apart
from these, university provide different services to their students such as career counselling,
campus healthcare, networking training & events, students counsellors, language center, gym,
training & workshops, academic advising and others (7 Amazing Student Services You Definitely
Need to Use, 2020). These are important services which is provided by most of the university to
their students so that they can enhance themselves in better manner for accomplishment of set
goal as well as objectives. Here, I need to learn from services rendered by students so that I can
improve myself and attain goal and objectives. With these services, I can easily learn many new
things which is required in career growth and success. I have to learn as well as apply those
knowledge in practical life to know where I stand and focus on improving those in effective
manner.
At time of pursuing courses from University, they have taught me about secondary
research which is required during research work (Cottrell, 2019). It is defined as that research in
which information are already collected and gathered by person during their investigation work.

In this aspect, university taught about authenticate and reliable sources and information. When
there is copyright of any article or information then it is regarded as authenticate and reliable
sources that is used for referencing about written matters. It is very important to use correct
sources for collection of data and information. Reference are of different types such as Harvard,
APA, Chicago and many more. In most of cases, Harvard is applied which is taught by
university at time of doing research work. The respective referencing is very easy to use. It is the
best platform for students to learn many new and different things to enhance oneself. Through
this study work, I learned about secondary research as well as references. These examination will
help me in future time period especially when I will be pursuing PhD study. I should try my best
to learn new things for improving myself and attain my career goal and objectives in appropriate
manner.

Apart from this, university has shown some short clips on TED talks of Sir Ken Robinson
titled as “do schools kill creativity” (Martirosyan, Hwang and Wanjohi, 2015). When I heard
word TED it was new to me and I asked it to teacher about it. They said, TED talk is defined as
video that is created from presentation at use of TED which means (Technology, Entertainment,
Design) conferences or several satellite events around global world. In this good speaker are
provided to talk about life, career, motivation which is maximum of 18 to 20 minutes on any
topic. This is very interesting topic which I like the most that assist students to create positive
thoughts about themselves and improve. As university has shown first clip to us and after that
they told each students to go through other clips of people and present their views in front of
classroom so that students can know more about other speaker and build them in better manner.
In TED talks, they speak about career, life, education, creativity which is required in actual life
of human beings. This inspire students to perform and help them to create positive thoughts
about every aspects of life. This is the best service which should be provided by all university to
their students.

Moreover, my university works on different social campaigns work where every month
they take students to that place in order to interact with individuals (Sala and Gobet, 2017). The
focus mainly on rural areas people where students are provided with opportunity to interact with
those groups and know more about more and hear to their problems. This is the part of study
materials to know about society and their people. After performing these activities, project is
allotted to each and every students which is very interesting to perform and learn many things
from it. I got an opportunity to interact with 30 years old lady named as Luka who was divorced
and running their small business by manufacturing handcraft materials for people. When I
interacted with her, she was very calm and dedicated towards her work. Through I build my
communication, problem solving and leadership skills which is required. These social campaigns
assist to know about what is happening in society, problems faced by rural areas and many more.
This is the best service which is provided by university as part of course to enhance skills and
knowledge in appropriate manner. This helped to know more about different types of people and
their problems faced by them.

CONCLUSION
The report concluded that students should enhance their academic skills through help of
their university by participating in different activities and events conducted by them. It is very
important for university to develop career of their students so that they can develop themselves
and achieve their career path. Different types of services are provided by university such as
academic, counselling, training, social campaigns, project and many more. Students should
participate in each of them so that they can attain career growth and success.
