INTRODUCTION
 It is very important for the individual that they become
the part of the university because of development of their
career and profession. The higher education not only
brings professional development but also helps
individuals to develop different types of skills in their
personality so that they can manage their personal as well
as professional life. (Lin, and Magnuson, 2018)
There might be a number of challenges faced by students in
their academic journey but there are also different types of
benefits present in the University which minimise the
negative impact of challenges and they are stated in this
presentation.

Challenges faced by students in University
There are different types of challenges and problems faced by students in their respective
University throughout their academic journey. For example,
 However, it is very important for students that they do not break their focus from their
studies and their skills development due to these challenges. These challenges may
have both negative and positive impact, but it depends upon the students resilience,
how they analyse these challenges and their reaction in such situations. (Qidwai,
Kashem and Conor, 2020)

Time management
It is related to those challenge faced by the students
in their university journey under which they feel
many difficulties to manage the time in their
different aspects of life.
Debts, tuition cost
It is seen in many examples that there are many
students are present in the universities which has
take the loan from the bank and from different
private financiers so that they becomes able to take
the admission in the college.

Social problems
 It is related to those challenge of the university under which
the students are not able to develop social relation with
other students. University is the best platforms for the
relationships and friendships and most of the students has
develop healthy relations in the institution which becomes
last longer of their life. (Suntheimer and Wolf, 2020)
Relationships
It is one of the most common problem which is seen in many
colleges and universities. There are many students are present
in the college which develops relationships with their opposite
genders and put them at extensive level.

Benefits of being university student
There are many benefits present in the University which the students can access and enjoy should they whish
to. For example, academic support on campus, telephone or Zoom; discounts to major shopping brands using
student ID, etc.
 It is very important for the students that they focus on the integrity and name of the University in the
market and perform all their functions in ethical manner. If the students want to enjoy the benefit of
being a University student, then they have to focus on their positive goals and objectives, complete their
courses and progress to higher years (Amini and Samani, 2021)

CONCLUSION
It is concluded from this presentation that it is beneficial for the students to become part of the
university culture because the journey of the university has developed many skills in previous

There are different types of benefits and challenges faced by the student in their academic
journey; however, most Universities in the UK have an array of students support services, thus
making the academic journey more enjoyable.
