INTRODUCTION
The aim of this report is to understand the stress management techniques for University
students. It is seen that on day today versus the students also face stress and that has direct
impact on their studies and working (Borjalilu, Mazaheri and Talebpour, 2019). There is direct
impact of stress on learning and health of the students. There is made of proper stress
management in order to help the students to learn properly and carry on their work in an
effective manner. Various stress management techniques are mentioned in this report that are
beneficial for the students.
MAIN BODY
Stress management
Stress management is one of the wide technique that aims at controlling the level of stress
and motivate the person so that there able to improve their everyday functioning. There is key
role of managing stress so that the person is able to manage day today life effectively (Jones and
et.al., 2021). In day to day operations and work load the University students they also face stress.
It is necessary for the university to work on stress management so that the students are able to
learn effectively. If the stress is not managing properly then the students are and anxious nervous
that that has impact on company.
Importance of stress management
There is key role of stress management. It helps in overall development of the students and
they are able to carry on the working effectively. By managing the stress, the University students
are able to perform their work effectively. They are able to learn and develop their skills and
manage overall working. They are able to live a free life and score good in exams. They are able
to spends time with family and friends and their studies are balanced.
Techniques of stress management
There are several techniques that help to manage stress of the students. Some of the
techniques that are suitable for University students are as follows:
Proper communication: There is need of effective communication in order to manage
stress of the students. It helps the students to share their stress. The person is able to minimise the
stress by forming effective relations. If the teacher regularly communicates with the students,

they are able to carry on the work effectively. The relations of the students are teachers can be
enhanced. It helps to minimise stress and the students are able to get good grades.
Engagement activities: The engagement activities are designed in such a manner that they
reduce stress level of the students. These activities refresh the mind of the students and they are
able to carry on the work effectively (Kassymova and et.al., 2018). There are certain activities
that help to enhance the students. All such type of activities must be part of the University and
undertaken so that the students are able to live a stress free life.
Exercise and physical activities: It is a well known fact that by indulging in physical
activities a students are able to forget stress. They are able to carry on the work by doing
physical activities and exercise on regular basis. This assist them to manage the work and attain
success. It is examined that exercise releases endorphins and improves your overall cognitive
abilities. There is need of managing the schedule and doing yoga, short walks on daily basis so
that they are able to forget the stress level.
Forming schedule: Having an effective time table is also important. By working according
to the time table the students carry on the work on right time. This practice assists the students to
manage their work and are not part of any last minute activity. By completing the work on time
the students are able to enhance their confidence level (Popa and et.al., 2020). There is need of
carrying the overall work as per the time and deadline being given to them. It is necessary to
manage the work and then avoid stress.
Get enough sleep and effective diet: There is direct impact of balanced diet on the stress
management of the students. The use of proper and balanced diet will help the individuals to
have a healthy lifestyle. This helps them carry on the work with proper concentration and
effective manner. Proper sleep in necessary to live fresh life. The students are able to learn
properly and their mind works better by having proper sleep and food.
Meditation: It is another technique that helps the students to manage stress. Meditation is
necessary for the students and they are able to work effectively. The students are able to develop
their mind and are more dedicated. This is necessary to help the students to grow and manage
stress.
Recommendations
It is recommended that the Universities must include all these stress management activities.
It helps them to manage stress and they will be able to live a balanced life. They are able to get

From the above report, it is concluded that there is important role of stress management in

management is mentioned in the starting of this report. Afterwards there is analysis related to the
technique that help to manage stress. All these techniques are necessary to boost the morale of
students and they are able to perform effectively.
