REFLECTION
This essay is a self-reflection of the learner on the learning outcome of the module. This essay
will present the idea of “why the student joined this module?” and also “how the student will
tackle the upcoming challenges and the requirements of the university course?” This essay will
elegantly present learner’s perspective on the course and also the study processes of university
for the different courses of university.
I have been a great learner throughout the module and throughout the topics that were taught
in the module. Throughout the module study I kept on understanding and implementing the
concepts learned in the modules to get a better understanding of the module (Ennis, 2011).
Throughout the module I also kept contacting my lecturers and the professors for discussing
and resolving the conflicts that I faced in the module (Hutcheon, 2012). This helped me to
develop a strategically mindset which allowed me synthesize the overall idea of the concepts
and becoming a great learner in turn. During the module lecturers provided different tasks
which I followed willingly and kept on learning the different concepts by applying them again
and again in the tasks assigned to me.
This module not only helped me develop my skills but also helped me in looking at the things
and the processes around me in a different manner. By this module I also identified what were
my learning needs and what kind of knowledge can fill my appetite (Campbell, 2010). Not only
this, throughout the module the different concepts and their application in different areas
helped me to fulfill my learning needs and achieve my learning goals. During this module I
observed my learning patterns and then developed the strategies that could match the course
of the university (Spradley, 2016). This way I found a strategy that can help me in
understanding the future modules in the course of university. This module also helped me in
increasing my confidence to face my learning objectives and achieve them. In this way all these
things helped me to become a learner and develop as a learner throughout the module
(Spradley, 2016).

During this module I also made efforts that can enhance me as learner and a better person
including the factors like pride, self-esteem and freedom in life. I have made a lot of mistakes
throughout the course and through those mistakes I have learned pretty good lessons that for
pure can help me in future and long term. This module taught me that how to think creative
during problems and how to solve them with patience and practice. This course helped me to
develop emotionally and mentally (Winnicott, 2018). In the curse of the module I get
opportunities to develop my skills. The key skills that I found useful and developed in myself
were technical skills, personal management and team working. All these skills were beneficial to
me and helped me as a learner. I was engaged in the module and learned productively and
actively. These all the aspects or things presents my way of thinking and developing as a
learner. I hope these things will prepare me for the future courses of the university too.
Definitely I will face many challenges in my journey for the further courses of this university but
I will put my best efforts to synthesize all the concepts of the future courses through qualitative
approaches that I have developed during the current course. I will vow that I will put my best
efforts and take responsibility of my university course. I would get over the challenges that I will
face during the course by analyzing the modules early with being clear about the course and
analyzing the expectations of the course from me as a learner. By applying these approaches I
would be able to develop a structure for studying the modules of the course and practice
continuously for achieving the best. At first I will try to identify the different levels of the course
and then gradually apply different learning approaches to figure out opportunities that can help
me in overcoming the challenges faced in that module and continuously make improvements in
the learning approaches by creating a feedback loop (Gielen, S., et al. 2010). Further for
continuous improvements I would identify the qualities that are needed to perform better in
the university throughout the course so that I can avoid the upcoming challenges in the
university course. As I stated above that active and productive learning will help me in
understanding the concepts of the modules more clearly and efficiently. Hence I will develop a
clear vision and goals, and work for their accomplishments so that I can meet the expectations
of the course and the university.

I will for sure make my efforts to meet the expectations of the university and course and follow
the instructions of the professors as directed by them for the course. I would enhance my skills
for grasping the knowledge so that I can learn actively and get associated with the course. I will
discuss the challenges that I will face in future modules of the course and would find a solution
to overcome the challenge so that I grasp full of a module (Gielen, S., et al. 2010). I will also
develop a learning pattern and schedules that will help me in preparing for the course. I would
develop an effective communication and a healthy relationship with the professors and seek for
their support so that I can prepare for the university modules and the course for avoiding the
issues that can threaten my learning. These points explain my approaches that I will use for
meeting the expectations of the course and the university.
This reflective essay is a work of the learner’s point of view for the university course and this
module. This reflection presented the way learner thinks and acts for meeting the expectations
of the course and the university, and also how and why the learner developed during this
module including the benefits of the modules. The essay clearly explains how the learner will
use quality thinking, critical approaches and productive behaviour that the learner will use for
the future modules of the course. This essay also made its point that how the learner will
manage to face the future challenges that will be faced during the course.
