The book The Wise Men And The Unknown God recounts the early personal pilgrimage of a
Christ follower from the land of East to the land of West. The book is known to explore
redemptive revelation of the God which defines the out the boundaries of the tradition of
Christianity religion. The book is also known to explore where the author encounters six major
religion of the world which have their own symbols. The author also speaks out that how these
six symbols incredibly point out to the God of the Bible that is Jesus Christ. The author describes
in the book how various Hindu avatars, Buddhist bodhisattvas, Sikh Gurus, Muslim prophets and
the Jewish Messiah considers that there is a savior figure which is present deep inside every
human heart. According to the author Dijkstra (2015 the book is good and ideal for personal
reading and short group studies. The book is known to serve both an introduction course to the
religions all around the world whereas it also serves as a purpose of a spiritual book for a
personal spiritual growth of a human being. The author speaks out in his book that human being
have two types of mental operations which are known as the explanation and imagination. The
author Pink (2019) speaks out how the author of the book clearly bridges the gap between
explanation and imagination with spirituality.
The book is much important as because it shows us how God is bigger than the boxes
present in the human heart and finds out the dark corners which is present in every religion. The
author helps the Christianity religion in understanding other religions and provides generous,

understanding. The author depicts out how people of every religion can understand the world of
religions and how they can talk with the people from different religions and respect their beliefs
and thoughts. The author’s knowledge, thoughts and religious beliefs from different types of
religions provides the readers a message of Jesus in the light of religions.
