INTRODUCTION
Urban park refers to the space that are recreated and green area which is basically offered
to residents of, visitors, etc. It is called as public, municipal park and garden which is generally
design and run by government. In other words it can be defined as open space area dominated by
vegetation, water and basically reserved for utilization of public. They are usually large in
regions but also have shape of pocket parks. The features of municipality parks have features
include hiking, tracking, running paths, sports, picnic facilities, boats ramp, etc. There are several
benefits of manciple parks includes positive impact on human physical and mental health. It
contributes in social cohesiveness by strengthening relationship. Public recreation ground play
significant role in economic development of the country. Apart from this, it promotes species and
biodiversity as directly connected with well-being of human. The municipal parks positively
impinging economy by reducing air pollution. On the other side, the challenges that are
associated with urban gardens are pressure on green spaces due to increased population.
Similarly, climate change can be the biggest issues which can harm life of green species. These
places can be the unsafe for the children as there are many cases in which kids got kidnapped
from the parks. The aim of current report is to give emphasis on impact of tourism, hospitality
and event industry along with their opportunities and challenges for holding events in parks.
Additionally, it will elaborate consequence of pollution and sustainability on parks from an
environmental perspective. The present report will as well include effect from social view in
terms of community development and change from demographic factors. Beside this, the report
will also present recommendation for maximizing benefits and minimizing challenges of urban
park.

can effect both positively and negatively (Ayala-Azcárraga, Diaz and Zambrano, 2019). In
addition to this, the current report will discuss the outcome of environmental and social activities
on public parks.
Analysis of impact of tourism, hospitality and event industry
It can be analysed that there are several ways in which recreation garden effect to tourism
sector. In modern era, travellers those who are interested in seeing nature will visit parks which

enhances scope tourism and hospitality firms (Xing and Brimblecombe, 2019). Tourism is
defined as visitors who come to community from outside of it. Some people specially visit parks
or involve in activities that take place in garden. There are various hotels that promotes the
products and services through green marketing (Chan and Chau, 2019). Event business
enterprises organize, host and promote festivals and programs whose aim is to attract customers.
There are various new opportunities that hospitality and tourism industry get due to
creation of piece of ground for visitors. Whenever new place is opened for relaxation it impacts
positively in increasing revenue of event industry. Additionally, when visitant go to any new
place they require hotel for accommodation, food, etc. which boom the scope of hotel
businesses(Song and Shim, 2021.). There are several effective measure that hotels take to excite
traveller such as eco-friendly practices, etc. It is essential for the commercial enterprise to
stimulate not only domestic but also outsiders as they both contribute majorly in success (Koens,
Postma and Papp, 2018.). For this purpose, government adds various facilities like gyming,
sporting, etc. as it encourages business of near places. In UK Abbey, Alexandra, Aire and many
more parks can be taken as example that share huge contribution in development of tourism
sector.
The logistic challenges that event orhanisations face while conducting programs in parks
are obtaining decoration material slow due to crowd on venue, damage to assets related with

event sector face is unavailability of drivers, decoration material, crowded place, government
regulation, technology advancement, etc. this can be dealt by reducing hotel rooms prices and
improving food quality to attract more and more customer. Additionally, from environmental
orientation it reduces pollutants, excessive heat, etc. by shading and cooling that enhances air
quality, reduces noise pollution. It also gives assistance to biodiversity by encouraging suitable
surrounding for them. There are different benefits and drawbacks of municipal gardens from
socio factor such as it promotes cohesiveness, spiritual enrichment which reliefs tension and

RECOMMENDATION
 It is recommended for formulation of parks that it should be centred at such place that can
be easily reachable to habitant and travellers and should contain enough area so that
many people can be benefited from it.
 This is advisable to such garden should be developed according to government regulation
by making sure that it is not harming nearby property of local residents.
 It can be suggested that municipal garden must have garbage storage facility such as dust
bins so that no land pollution of plastic material related to packets of chips, biscuits and
food items throne by visitors can be prevented

 It can also be taken into consideration that activities conducted in parks like sports,
picnic, etc. should not create much noise. With respect to this, nearer buildings of
occupant and offices can be ventilated from noise pollution (Chan and Chau, 2021).
 Along with this, managing biodiversity should be taken into intellectual so that it can
comply with environmental rules and regulation.
 Beside this, it is suggested that to boost the tourism, event and hospitality sector it should
match up with the changing requirements of customers as taste and preferences
frequently changes (González-Méndez and et.al., 2021.). For this purpose, authorities of
urban park should conduct market study to analyse current trend of industry.
