INTRODUCTION
Urban park refers to a park or another incorporated spaces that offers recreation as well
as green spaces for residents and visitors. Design, operation as well as maintenance of urban
parks are usually conducted by agencies of government at a local level. Common features of
urban park involve playgrounds, running track, gardens, public restrooms, picnic facilities as
well as availability of natural features. It provides an access for recreational opportunities and
enhances value of property that are near urban parks. Apart from it, formulation of urban parks
leads to spurring of local economies and provides positive impact to an environment. Another,
benefit which is associated with creation of urban park is that it encourages an active lifestyle
among people and reduces negative health impacts. Reason is that it provides an opportunity to

public usage which is beneficial in several ways. Its impact is evaluated in the three distinctive
perspectives, that are, health, economical, and tourism or environmental which are described
below:

Health impacts:
Modern life style of people nowadays incorporates chronic stress, environmental hazards,
as well as insufficiency in relation to physical activities. Here, urban parks play a very critical
role in enhancement of health of people. As, such green spaces which involves parks, residual
greenery as well as playgrounds that leads to promotion of mental health and physical health of
citizens. Green spaces which are provided by urban parks serves as a reason for improvisation of
public health by providing them psychological relaxation as well as provides alleviation from
stress. Apart from it, urban parks enable stimulation of social cohesion, supports physical
activity, as well as reduces exposure to pollutants of air (Crompton, 2020). Hence, it can be
stated that urban parks provide an environment to citizens which is supportive and encourage

also enhances as requirement of staff members increases in a growing entity. Overall, it leads
towards enhancement of disposable income of customers. Hence, in such ways implementation
of urban parks pertains positive impact on economical condition of a country. Apart from it,

Environmental perspective:

From the above report it can be concluded that urban parks is a open space that provides an
opportunity to visitors for enjoying nature as well as for getting fit conducting physical activities
such as walking, running as well as cycling. It pertains various impacts on health of people,
economy of a nation as well as on activities related to tourism as well as events. Health benefit is
that formulation of urban parks serves as an opportunity for improvisation of natural or green
spaces in a country that pertains positive impact on environment and health of visitors. In case of
economical perspective urban parks leads towards providing of greatest value for natural
amenities as well as provides recreational opportunities which often lies in ability of land which
helps in attracting and retaining people, businesses, as well as entrepreneurs. Further, in
consideration to its impact on tourism and event organization urban parks leads towards creation
of a source of attraction for tourism, that is transient and flexible, therefore it helps be usage to
extension as well as creation a tourism.
RECOMMENDATIONS
While providing recommendations in context to urban parks it can stated that urban parks
along with trails as well as open green spaces should remain open and green. Modifications in
relevance to scheduling may be required for the purpose of controlling the number of users at a
particular period of time as well as allows for appropriate distancing. Staff that are from various
departments may be required for the purpose of ensuring monitoring, guidance and for ensuring
that all the stated rules and regulations are adequately followed. Effective policies in relation to
schedules as well as modify fees helps in determination of best practices for ensuring effective
balancing for expanding access along with strategies or policies for controlling the number of
users.
