Election 2016 Impact on World Politics

This project proposal outlines an analysis of the 2016 US Presidential Election and its impact on world politics, focusing on the controversial election of Donald Trump. The proposal aims to explore both internal and external implications of Trump's presidency, including his actions and foreign policy decisions. The project will briefly touch upon the relationships with key countries like Mexico, China, Russia, the Middle East, and India to understand the overall scenario and estimate future developments. The purpose is to provide a broad overview rather than an in-depth analysis of each aspect.

The Proposal
The topic selected for the activity is Election 2016. The theme of the topic is impact of US
Presidential Election 2016 on the world politics. The reason behind the identification of this
topic is that the selection of the current US President Donald Trump carried lots of
controversies1. Before the election could take place, the US President Donald Trump made
various remarks that were not acceptable to most of the American communities.
Interestingly, despite surrounded with controversies, Mr Trump became the president2. If the
speeches of Mr Trump are assessed from pre-election to post-election, along with the recent
actions related to health care and foreign policies, then it can be stated that there are
numerous implications that can be expected in the coming days3. It would be an appreciable
effort to understand how the foreign relation of US unfolds under the aggressive leadership of
Donald Trump and the impact it is likely to have on the global diaspora in the short and long
run.
The current topic will not cover every pieces of this scenario. Only major aspects will be
covered. There will be two aspects, internal (within the country) and external (outside the
country) that will be covered. In the internal scenario, the recent actions of Mr Trump will be
covered along with the actions that can be expected from after his speech assessment. In the
external scenario, the relationship with Mexico, China, Russia, Middle East, and India will be
touched briefly to understand the topic clearly.
The purpose is to understand the overall scenario and estimate how things are likely to unfold
in the future. Limited focus will be given on discussing each aspect deeply as there is no
depth to which each aspect can be discussed at any given point of time.
