Introduction
The application described is a user interface design of a small farm shop who wants to
makes it business digital (Page, 2014). The farm sells different kinds of products that is food
items, wines, gifts. The farm sell fresh products and wants to deliver all their eatable products
such as fruits, vegetables, dairy products fresh to all their customers. The customer can select the
particular category they are looking for ordering the product from the application. Another
additional service is provided by the application. The application gives the customer the facility
to book restaurant for a night out or day out. There are also options for the customers to book
banquets for organizing parties or functions. The application is very useful for all the local users.
Discussion
 Targeted User- The users targeted for using the application are the local user who lives in
the same locality where the shop is located (Thies, 2015). The user of the locals are
mostly targeted because the farm wants to provide all their customers with fresh fruits
and vegetables, fresh cooked foods, as well as fresh dairy products. The local farm shop
makes the delivery in maximum of 8 to 10 hours of delivery. Local people are so targeted
for maintaining the quick delivery system.
 Design Principles with the component design in the application- The design principles
that are associated with an application is stating the purpose of the application. The
purpose of the application should be clear with the design that is made (Fu et al., 2018).
The communication in between the users of the application should also be done properly.
The interface that is designed has a clear purpose of fulfilling the requirements of the
users.

 Usability Goals with the component design in the application- The usability goals of an
interface design are all the functions that are user needs to do and the elements that the
interface are easy for the user to use (Thomas, Oppermann & Krogsæter, 2017). The
interface design that is designed for the “Local Farm Shop” is very user efficient and the
user can find instruction on every page for proceeding to the next part. The interface
design is very helpful to the users.
 User Experience goals with the component design in the application- The goals of the
experience is that the experience of the user should be good and if the users face any
problem related with using the application, the support chart of the application will
always provide them with possible way to come out (Endsley, 2016). This interface that
is design for the “Local Farm Shop” has all such options that can deal with the problems
that the user faces. The design has many pictures as well as images that makes the design
attractive and attracts more user to use the application.
 Benefits and issues of the interface- The benefit that the design of the application
provides is that the application provides lots of images making the site attractive. The
design also enables the user to shop from their home itself without visiting the retail shop.
The customer can be able to make purchases online itself. The design is user friendly and
a=is very efficient for all the functions involved (Shneiderman et al., 2016). The
disadvantage that the design of the application provides is that as this is an online
application. The user cannot avail the design of the application without an internet
connection.
 Justification about application to be best for the cast study- This design prototype is one
of the most appropriate online application app that is used for the local farm shop. This

able the shop owner to sell their products online with no maintenance of front end shop.
The cost of the inventory is also lessen for the customer. With its appropriate design, the
application enables the users to use the application for ordering their daily commodities
at any time they want.
Conclusion
From the above discussion, use of the application of ‘Local Farm Shop’ can clearly
understandable. There are various deals that the application system provides the user according
to the loyalty of the customer. There are various products that the application provides the user.
With all the features provided to the users, the user can easily use the application of the Local
Farm Shop for availing online shopping from their home itself. The interface that is designed has
proper principles, usability goals, user experience goals related to the interface. There are many
positive influence as well negative influences that are related with the interface design of the
‘Local Farm Shop’. All those influence are stated in this assignment.
