Overview of the organization
Utopimed is a medical center which is located in
Australia that is interested in designing its network
systems
The medical center has about 10 chambers for GPs
and 10 chambers for specialist with about 20 doctors
All the chambers are equipped with computers which
are connected to the organization network
In the waiting area patients ought to be in a position to
access the Internet via the Wi-Fi

Business goals
 Reduce the operation cost of Utopimed
 This is usually measured in terms of TOC (Total Cost of
Ownership)
 Increased Utopimed employee productivity
 This is measured by the average number of staff minutes per
week
