course. This course was chosen to make a career growth in this subject.

Project management course is in high demand nowadays because of its high career scope. I choose
to pursue this degree because of its high growth potential in future. Project management is usually
needed in almost all the industry where they need to manage their time, budget and expansion. This
course will help me get a bright career in future without any lack of jobs.
I have completed my first degree in Certifies Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from
University of South Australia in 2016. I have done an internship in a company named NSW
Department of Industry, which has a project management section. In that company, I used to assist
some of the project coordinators on the ways to manage a project to make it successful. I got to
learn a lot of tricks and tips on managing crucial projects easily.

activity and constitute of an individual or group or any organization who are affected or affects a

The stakeholders of this project are the the subject teacher, parents, mentor and the other

9.1 Definition of Project Risk Management

Project risk management is defined as the mitigation of the risks associated with the project such as
the uncertain events that delay a project or arise some unfavourable situations (de Araújo et al.
2017).
9.2 How does this apply to my work in this course?

The risk might exist within the organization or even in the external environment of the organization.
Risks can be shortage of funds or human resources or raw materials, failure of machineries and
equipments, strikes and policies of the Government that might affect the project. The risks
associated with the project are sickness, injury, language problems and failure to get proper study
materials. This can put a negative affect on the completion of my project and course in the long run.
