AI Summary
This report provides an analysis of the UWA Library project, focusing on the change requirements and the subsequent implementation of the Prince 2 methodology. The project initially faced challenges such as poor scoping, lack of clear direction, and resource constraints, leading to delays and incomplete projects. To address these issues, the library implemented the Prince 2 methodology in 2005, which involved training staff and making the use of the method compulsory. The report highlights the benefits of this approach, including the breaking down of silos, building trust, and increased flexibility within the project management processes. The analysis covers the requirements for change within the project management plan, process groups, and the project life cycle, emphasizing the improvements brought about by the new methodology and its impact on the overall project outcomes. The report references relevant literature to support the analysis of change requirements and project management strategies.

1INTEGRATED PROJECT MANAGEMENT
While initiating a project, it is important to manage changes in project for ensuing success in
project and for this proper change management is required. An important aspect of effective
change management is to identify requirements for changes in project and in this post, change
requirements for this project is described in details (Cameron & Green, 2019). Therefore, it
provides a comprehensive overview regarding why changes were required in this project and
along with this, details have been provided in terms of what changes have been made in this
project. As described in this post that lack of scope management and proper strategies for
execution of project were some important reasons why this project was not successful.
Therefore, there was lack of resources and project team did not have required resources when
this project was yet to be completed.
As there were various issues, it was required to implement change in library and in 2005
change was implemented as well. This project considered Prince 2 Methodology which is an
excellent project management method for implementing changes in project according to
requirements for project change (Vaníčková, 2017). While implementing any method for
managing change requirements, it is required to train people for ensuring application of
project management methodology and this has been provided in this post as well. Not only
trainings were provided to staffs, but it was also made compulsory to apply this method as
well.
Along with this, how application of Prince 2 Methodology has provided benefits to project
team and this organization has been described in details which makes this post effective in
identifying benefits of Prince 2 Methodology for changes in project as well.
