INTRODUCTION
The report aims to analyse the key elements of project management in order to make it
success. Project management is vital function which is necessary to work on a particular task or
activity to achieve the goals. A project last long for some specific duration which gets end with
the fulfilling of its objectives. Therefore, a project manager require skills to develop plans,
forecasts risk, set time, cost and resources. All the planning helps influencing projects aims and
does not incur any losses (Magano, and et.al., 2020). This project is all about The University of
Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) London campus who wants to switch their class from
online to offline. Due to the Lock down situation, the university has shift to online teaching but
now the situations are getting normal, so they wants to set face to face delivery in the campus
itself. For that instance, this report is going to plan the overall project scope, assumptions,
constraints, stakeholders and other important elements.

Introduction of project
The project of University of Wales has major aim to re-shift their practices of delivering
lectures from online to offline. They wants to get rid of complex online teaching system which
creates various problem in delivering the sessions clearly. Also, online teaching is not being
necessity for all the students as it eradicate personal interaction, programmes and collaborations
with students. The teachers could not interact properly and give them assistance to their queries.
Therefore, the university has started giving hybrid delivery of the session in which, some
students could take classes online and some may come to university campus for face to face
interaction. This system of delivery is affecting the productivity of the teachers who have to
manage both the classes and repeat the same lectures twice. This impact on the productivity of
college as well as they could not focus on other essential function by managing classes at both
level.
Goals: The goal is to attract the students towards universities campus. It will helps the
university to attain high effectiveness and productivity to carry out educational practices.
Objectives:

To attain 10% of admissions at the university by giving campus training and involve
offline programmes and education.
To make proper use of human resources and engage with many collaborations.
To make better future of the students by focusing on their skills, knowledge and areas fro
improvement.
Critical success factor:
There are many critical success factors which enables project managers to remain agreed
on the goals and objectives of organisation (McLaren and Loosemore, 2019). These factors
helps in attaining success which will helps the manager to focus on success criteria effectively.
In this project, these factors are mentioned below:

Project objectives: The objective is to attain large number of student participation in the
University., it would be done through starting the programmes, collaboration and sessions again
which will inspire the students at large number. The objective is crucial to eliminate barrier of
online education and deliver face to face session which will be more effective for both students
and teachers as well.
Parameters: The project parameters include scope, budget and quality of the project
which is required to attain success of the project. This project has main parameter of resources
and scope that the university wants to start delivering offline sessions for which they require
facilities, infrastructure, development of organisation culture as per recent Covid-19 protocols.
Quality: The project will give expected quality which is to increase the efficiency of
learners and teachers (Lai,Deng, and Chang, 2019). The students will get proper support to their
queries and do not fails in assignments. They will keep in touch with other peers and involve in
group learning session, communications and other universities programmes like debates and
speeches.
Cost: The estimated cost for this project would be $20000 which incudes setting up
infrastructure, software and technology, Covid-19 safety measures.

Understanding of project benefits: The project will enable various benefits for the
university and the students. It assures that, all the student will take participate in university
sessions. This will benefit in reducing online hectic sessions which creates problems of network
issues, delays and working on curriculum. The other benefits are about giving right opportunities
to students, give placements and campus recruitment. It will maintain reputation of the university
and they would get number of admission across different countries. These benefits showcase
that, the project has effective scope to be carry out in the market and bring the culture back in the
university to make learning and education interesting.

and then give it a shape for practical implementation. Assumptions are necessary to identify
problems, resources which might use and uncertainties which might impact on it. Therefore, it is
necessary to make few assumptions that will helps in bringing new ideas through eliminating the
other one. In the project of Universities of Wales, there are few assumptions which are described
below:
Resources: It has assumed that all the resources will be available for the university to
provide face to face sessions. The resources includes training rooms, faculty of staff, instructors,
module programmes and infrastructure (Koke,and Moehler,2019). It is unclear whether all the
rooms will be available and sufficient for the sitting. These resources are required to enable face
to face delivery sessions at the campus which require electric fitting, Eco friendly environment,
water and basic facilities for students and staffs.
Delivery: The lectures will be deliver through the classroom in which maximum 20
students can sit in one classroom. These lectures will be provided through power point
presentations, slides and Educom. These tools will be helpful to make students learn about every

Stakeholder analysis
It is one of the major analysis which helps in analysing effective stakeholders involved within
the project. Mainly there are number of people who work internally and externally for the
organisation and contribute their efforts (Gunduz,and Almuajebh 2020). Each one of them are
important for the company at some point of time. Therefore, stakeholders must be remain happy
and satisfied for the welfare of organisation and success of project.
High power high interest: These people are the main individuals of the organisation
who have high power and high interest in the functioning. They impact directly on the decision
making and all the plans are based on their approval (Lippi, and Mattiuzzi, 2019). They are
interested in organisation functions and has power and authority to make it well structured. As
being a project manger, it is required to keep ficus on these stakeholders and they must be
informed and satisfied. In relation to developing face to face delivery programmes in university
of Wales, the broad of director and dean of university comes in this category.

these stakeholders as they have power but low interest in the organisation functions. These
stakeholders could control over the operations but does not take part in day to day operations. In

The project structure must be clearly set in order to carry out all the practices effectively.
The structure shows all the lines of communication which shows how to perform the tasks and
activities and whom to approach. The manager will easily carry out and deliver all the roles and
responsibilities so that, the employees will aware about their task and make sure that each
individual is assigned with their responsibilities (Kerzner, 2019). In relation to the objective of
project plan, the manger has responsibility to deliver all the face to face session in each
classroom for each subject area. It has shown that, it is become necessary to interact with the
students to understand about their requirements and bring changes in the sessions. The leaders
and project managers needs to be focused on tall the activities runs on campus. They must
manage each session and programme in an effective way to maintain professionalism and
collaborative working.
Project Control Mechanisms:
The project must be control in order to secure sustainability over the project. All the
activities and task must be supervised regularly to eliminate any mistakes and bring the needs for
improvement.
Work breakdown structure: This is major mechanism of the project through which the
work will be divided in small sections (Fioravanti, and et.al., 2018). It become effective when
all the task divide in small manner which avoid confusions and it is easy to monitor each and

establish face to face delivery sessions.
