INTRODUCTION
Business communication is defined as transferring of information from one individual to
another within as well as outside the business environment. The main purpose behind business
communication is to make necessary improvements and decrease all errors. There are several
types of communication such as external, lateral and so on. It is crucial for a business
organisation to enable good communication as it helps in enhancing the level of productivity and
building up good team work so that all goals and objectives could be achieved (Mayfield,
Mayfield and Walker, 2021). By analysing the situation of COVID-19 pandemic, there are many
problems associated with it due to which people don't take vaccine so it become more important
for the government to persuade people to take vaccine. The report is categorised into two
projects which is task 1 and task 2. In context with task 1, it includes an advertising campaign
regarding challenges and barriers and strategies to overcome those problems. In context with task
2, it is involved with theories of organisational communication, barriers and government
strategies to overcome it.

General theories of organisational communication
Organisational communication refers to the field that enables forms of interaction which
allows companies to grow and connect with all the stakeholders and do contribution in the
community. There are several theories of communication like weber's classical theory and many
more which are further explained below: -
Max Weber theory: - In accordance with this theory, it is also known as bureaucratic
management theory which enables that there are three types of power which could be
found out in organisations which are legal, charismatic and traditional. This theory
demonstrates that organisations has defined all their roles and responsibilities in a clear
way (Nasevičiūtė, 2021). It is mainly related to the accomplishment of efficient
interpersonal structure and understand the need of emotional orientation for all the

associated with several approaches like self-control, recognizing the people as the main
parts of the organisation (Zelenková and Javorčíková, 2020). With the help of effective
communication, organisations are able to achieve sustainable level of growth within the
accurate channel. In context with theory x, it is always assumed that people are naturally
unmotivated and doesn't like the work. On the other hand, theory Y is in terms of positive
opinion of people and enable a collaborative relationship between all team members and
executives.
Functional approach to corporate culture: - In context with this approach, it helps in
effective performance in order to make union within all organisational changes. It is
helpful for enabling all approaches and achieve functional level of growth as per the
changes being done.
Acceptance theory of authorities: - The main focus of this theory is on effective
interaction and management of cohesiveness for the formal organisational structure and
besides this, managing a good feeling for the concept of self-respect and self-integrity. It
helps in interacting in an organisation, preventing stress and focusing on the importance
of using formal communication in relation with all team members.
Analyse the barriers of communication preventing people getting the vaccine
Physical barriers: - There are several areas which are in relation with inadequate
knowledge to book the vaccine. People think that the vaccination centres are very far
away from their location. So, on the basis of this, it was evaluated that problems in
communication was getting arise as people were not interact with each other due to such
long distance (Callaway and Mallapaty, 2021) So, it would be helpful for a person to try
to interact with other people on constant basis and achieve growth.
Emotional barriers: - In terms of taking COVID -19 vaccine, most of the people are
scared due to which they don’t even think about it. There are several misconceptions
which create an effect on growth and the changes which takes place in terms of taking
vaccine and could get sick. In order to control emotional barriers, there are different

deny for enabling a change in their life. People contradict to take up the vaccine as they
feel that there is high level of risk to use vaccine (Callaway, 2020). It is in relation with
several challenges and making accurate methods to prevent from taking vaccine. There
are many people who has a thinking that they have good immunity power and doesn't
carry the risk of COVID
Cultural barriers: - There are many people who are in relation with the attainment of
different forms and in United Kingdom, almost all the people as well as government
speaks in English only which becomes a barrier for other audiences who don't speak
English. Due to such difference in culture, people become anxious of taking the vaccine.

Government makes the use of effective procedure and principles to take necessary and
strong actions during the procurement and distribution of vaccine. It would be helpful for
achieving growth and making systematic changes for all regulatory agencies.
There are several ways for properly making vaccine and build up the level of trust within
government competence. It becomes helpful for presenting entire capacity in order to
maintain and manage the vaccine campaign (Khan and et.al, 2020). Through the usage of
effective technologies and achievement of all targets, it could become more reliable and
manufacturing could be done in a more effective way.

usage of accurate bilateral resources. It helps all the people to manage the activities, solve

pandemic and take the vaccine (Rödder, 2020). Government should represent vaccine as a social
norm and present the message that it is the most accepted health care worldwide. Besides this, it
is also important to improve communication abilities so that no kinds of barriers take place. It is
also being recommended that government should use social media through which all
information, benefits could be easily provided.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that, the usage of proper organisational
communication is very helpful in achieving growth. There are several barriers and challenges to
communication like physical barriers, emotional, information and many more. Due to such
challenges, people doesn't like to take vaccine and always think that they would not suffer from
such pandemic. There are several theories associated with organisational communication like
theory X and theory Y, Max Weber theory and so on. It becomes important for the government
to set up different strategies so that barriers to communication should be reduced and people start
