Some people think that abortion is always wrong. Some think that abortion is right
when the mother's life is at risk. Others think that there is a range of circumstances in
which abortion cceA life. What is life about? When someone is born, we say he has
received the divine gift, life. Birth is a moment of life, not the only one, but it is a
fundamental one. Not all souls are so privileged to be born. There are souls stuck
between life and eternity. Life is the greatest gift that has ever been given to the
being. The life given by god has a very special meaning a value in which people
sometimes forget to thank or either regret. Many students/adults believe that they
are going to be popular if they have money and a good job buy forget that people are
influenced by those who have learned something.
Life is like a garden. Roses are desire, love and attachment. Lilies are
sensitivity, joy, innocence purity, wisdom. Daisies are beauty, marginalia. And
sunflower is the embodiment of energy, power, light and heat. Could we live without
life? Can we live without the pleasant feeling of being, to feel the sweet breeze of the
freshness of life? Happiness, sadness, joy, wisdom, desire are feelings that would
not exist in us if it were not life. Life is given to us, we have to live it. He who has in
his life part of love, sensitivity, wisdom, beauty and energy has fulfilled his purpose
on earth. Everyone is independent to choose their lifestyle, to impose their own rules
because life is such a subjective element that it does not resemble any of the forms
of life. Life can be instantly changed by a simple action. People should be aware that
they have life in their hands and that they have absolute autonomy. Each of us is
free to decorate our lives with love, health, wisdom and energy. What is sublime is to
feel like you have love.

Life is a period of existence of a living being from the dawn – the moment of birth
till the decline – its death. For everyone this period is unique. For someone it is quite
long, for others it is too short. Very often we can hear people saying that they are so
busy that they do not have enough time to live, meaning that they do not feel the
taste of life. They think that a couple of valuable additional hours per day or days per
week would make them happier as they would have more time to spend with their
families, friends, lovers, pets. However, in most cases when you have free time you
decide that you can do even more things take a new task, get one more job, accept
another challenge. People are used to waste their time. Michel de Montaigne has
said: “The value of life lies not in the length of days, but in the use we make of them.”
So it does not matter if you are young or old. What is actually of importance is the
way you have spent your life. You can be a 60-year old grumbler claiming all the
time that the world is cruel and life is not fair to you. Or you can be a 30-year old
enthusiast who travelled all over the world, helped thousands of homeless and saved
hundreds of people with one brilliant idea. According to Myles Munroe, “The value of
life is not in its duration, but in its donation. You are not important because of how
long you live, you are important because of how effective you live.”
However, it is so sad to say but at the same time by falling in love people may forget
about the value of their lives. Young people, impulsive and immoderate, are inclined
to rash and ill-considered actions, like suicides because of unrequited love. These
modern Romeos and Juliet’s do not understand that losing their lives will cause only
harm to the people they loved. The sense of life is to give love, not to take it away. If
one person does not need it give it to someone else. Maybe you will add value to
another unfortunate life. So these three values – time, success and love – can make
your life on one hand full and unforgettable but on the other hand hard and painful.
There are always a couple of options. It is you who has to decide what way to
choose. You are the lord of your life and the value of it depends on your own actions.

The word human denotes something so unique and so that it is reserved for only one
species: homo sapiens. In the created order, humans stand alone as the crowning
expression of our Creator.
First of all, if we ask ourselves the greatest gift God has given us, we could
answer with all certainty: life. And this, not only because we can now enjoy the
beauties of this world, we can fuller desires, but especially because after this
existence, eternal life awaits us. Life is a divine mystery. In the soul of man, God has
set this law of love between man and woman, this desire for union, the bondage that
is accomplished by marriage, and its purpose is the birth of children. This is also the
first commandment God gave to men: "Grow and multiply, and fill the land, and rule."
God has exalted man to honour him to be a worker together with Him in the focus of
life. Man brings the mortal body, and God puts into it the divine spark, the soul. As a
result, God alone has the power to give life, and only He has the right to take it.
Whoever assumes the right to his or her life, commits the greatest sin, abducts the
dominion from God, who is Lord of life and death. We are intrigued when we hear of
wars, crimes or accidents, but we do not think that, over time, abortion has killed
more lives than all wars and diseases together. In front of God, abortion is the most
ugly murder, that the mother himself kills her baby, which never happens in the
animal world.
Secondly, what is abortion? Abortion is a double crime: first, against God who
created that being, and then against that soul who, being united to Christ by the
mystery of the Holy Baptism, will be deprived of his glory God, remaining in a dark
place to the fearful judgment when, through the mercy of God, he will be delivered.
On the woman, however, it remains a great sin of death. So the fetus is a human
being at the very moment of its conception. Therefore, at any time, the interruption of
the pregnancy will occur, we will have to interrupt a life, even if it is in its early
stages. Many believe that the little baby being in the mother's body knows and feels
nothing when deciding to go off the road of abortion. But it is insulting. A large
American doctor, director of a 30,000 abortion clinic per year, has been filming
ultrasound of a 3-month-old female abortion. The film proves impossible to say, as

the fetes feels close and threatens the killer's abortion tool. As a result, he moves
shaken, his heart beat rises from 140 to 200, and trying to save himself, he opens
his mouth wide as a shout, unfortunately a mute shout, because nobody hears it.
Even so was the movie, "A mute shout". In many countries, women presenting for
abortion are shown sequences of this film - and as a result, a large number of them,
terrified of reality, abandon their killer plan. For God, life is sacred. He even
considers an embryo to be a living, unique being. King David was inspired to write
about God: "Your eyes saw me when I was just an embryo." God declared that a
person who would hurt an unborn child would be held accountable. So, in the eyes of
God, killing an unborn child means murder. For women who have aborted the sin of
abortion is no less forgiven than any other sin. By faith in Christ and by genuine
repentance, all sins can be forgiven. A woman who has had an abortion or a man
who has encouraged an abortion or even a doctor who has caused such an abortion
can be forgiven by believing in Jesus Christ. Life is holy, pure and inviolable, and we
must respect it as we respect God, the Life-giving Giver. Throughout the Bible, it is
clear that God knows all things, even those that are about to happen, and he knew it
from eternity. He thus knew every dog, every life just before conceiving.
God also created the womb as the place from which he would bring people into the
world for his Son. When an unborn child is killed, it is not just a sin against God but
also a sin against Christ’s glory. Why? Because that eternal soul will never have the
opportunity to glorify Christ in this world. Each abortion potentially robs Christ of an
embodied, living worshiper the kind God seeks to glorify both himself and his Son.
Abortion is so wrong because it robs God of his highest prerogative in this world: a
creature made in the image of Christ who worships God by the Spirit. If there’s
anything that should grieve us about abortion and there are many things it should
be that Christ has been robbed of his glory. We want children to have life. But more
than that, we want children to have life in Christ the life he came to offer by entering
this world in the womb of a virgin. This is a central fact for the pro-life Christian. We
are human persons from the moment of conception, just as Christ was a human
person from the moment of His conception. God clearly demonstrated that life in the
womb is priceless, because He Himself came to earth through the womb.
Public opinion

The evolution of the human right laws and legislation across the globe pose great
influence on the introduction and implementation of other laws such as abortion
regulations in different countries. The human rights have played role in
institutionalizing the abortion laws in two ways firstly by influencing the domestic
court decisions for accessibility of abortion procedure and secondly by serving as an
important resource in advancing the policy and framework. According to the
International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) reproduction is the
human right of the individual and is well entitled in local and international laws ( Fine
et al., 2017). The report focused on fostering abortion laws in association to human
rights to ensure safety of women and included following clause, commitment to
women’s health by addressing unsafe abortion, to ensure safety access to abortion
when in legal terms, to guarantee all women quality post abortion care as a human
rights imperative. Some major limitation of this programme highlighted how the
human rights forum was kept into consideration but the need to reform the abortion
laws as per the human rights domains was not recognized also linkage between lack
of access and abortion was not perceived. The International Human rights bodies
have documented that the abortion laws in some states are beyond human right
consensus and termination and restriction of abortion under safe abortion laws at
times hamper the human rights and thus requires to be reframed (Fine et al., 2017).
According to UK Supreme Court the abortion laws in Northern Ireland contravenes
human rights of the individual. The court recognized how the strict and restrictive
laws in Northern Ireland regarding abortion infringe the human rights of women and
girls in case of foetal anomaly, rape and incest. According to Margaret Wurth (2019),
life of the women when abortion is banned can be well imagined. Her research with
two countries where abortion is completely restricted even when there is major risk
to women’s life revealed that some cases in these countries have been in past that
resulted in death of the girl due to pregnancy and inability of the health care workers
to abort due to abortion laws. The strong opinion of Wurth determines how these
abortion laws are seen in 2019 and how this would affect the lives of the women in
the nation if the abortion laws are strictly restricted and followed as in Ireland that
contravenes the human rights of the women and also risk their lives. She claims that
these countries need to reform their abortion laws as aim to reduce unplanned
pregnancies will not be achieved as it will still happen and women will need abortion
and restricting their rights violets their human rights and also leads to death of many

(Human rights watch., 2019). Hence it can be said that public opinion for abortion
laws has both aspects some are in favour that the inhuman act of killing a life in
womb for no major reason or due to gender discrimination in some countries is
inhuman nd insensitive and abortion laws plays a role in reducing such female
infanticide and girl killing. Whereas others have opinion on strong basis that these
laws are beneficial but restricting abortion completely hinders the human rights of the
women and does not allow them to live independently or freely in democratic world.
When the Department for Justice in Northern Ireland conducted a consolation on
abortion law on 2014 , there were 712 initially written responses and 579 of those
opposed change with 133 supporting change . Two women described about
abortion in the video of BBC news (12\09\2018) .

In my opinion, the value and dignity of human life is derived from God the
Creator and is rooted un the fact that all human have been created in God’s image.
As stewards of the life God has given, we are to uphold its sanctity from conception
to the grave. Ending someone’s life order to relieve suffering or inconvenience is not
only unjustifiable; it violates God’s clearly defined moral order. Suffering should bring
us not to end life prematurely but to entrust ourselves more completely to our faithful
God no matter what befalls us or those whom we love.
