which influence the ethic is mentioned in this

A. Ethics
Ethics is a tool and technique of moral
principle. Ethics may affect the decisions

remained in controversy that they beef up the
privacy of their users to hit the profit of the
company.
Factors influence ethics
The foremost factor which influence
ethic is legislation as the government has
made some rules and lows and also set some
standards which the companies have to
follow, and government may take action
against the company when they become more
selfish and unethical and do not fulfil their
responsibility towards society.
Government rules and regulation is
also one of the factor which influence the
ethic, as government has made some rules
which is related to working condition, health
and safety of the employees etc., these are
necessary for the company to follow.
When a company becomes older and
grow faster its standard and ethic also get rises,
and if the company found indulged in doing
any unethical issue this will impact the brand
image and reputation of the company.
This scandal affect the ethics of
individual and users who are sharing their
personal information to Facebook and also
sharing their pictures through the app (Blok,
2017). When this issue comes in limelight
Facebook abide their mistake and make new
privacy for the user , and satisfy them that
nobody going to misuse their personal details
for the sake of profit. So this unethical issue
of Facebook impacts the physical and
information security.

employees enjoy their work wile staying at
the organisation. Business ethics focuses on
the organisation and higher authority, should

et.al, 2020). When the organisation looks for
the welfare and development of the employees
they also get a feeling of loyalty ans get
attached to the organisation. Example –

and need of both.
H&M which is a clothing company

given time period and try to focus on the
completion of the work (Pinto, 2019). For
example- Patagonia, is an American clothing
company which is used organic cotton, to
protect its customers from pesticides so this is
one of the business ethic of the company. This
ethic has to be followed by the employees
whose main work is to make the clothes.
But there are some companies who do
not follow ethics just to earn high profit.
Example – Amazon. This company always
remain in the limelight for not paying proper
tax as per their sales, and also it has been
found that Amazon do not treat their
employees well, which is an unethical issue of
the company.
Ethical obligations of business
Health and safety
This is one of the obligation which
company has to follow that they have to
provide proper workplace and working
condition for the employees and also provide
flexible working to the employees.
Environmental protection
Organisation must protect the
environment, they have to take care that
whatever they are producing it should not put
negative impact the environment, plants and
water. Part from this company must follow
reduce, reuse and recycling in the
organisation.
C. laws which promotes good ethical practises
There various lows which have been
propounded by the UK government to promote
the ethics at the workplace.
The equality act
As the name implies, this act has been
made by the UK government to protect the
employees from any kind of discrimination
and partiality (Kurtzleben , 2020). As per this
low no one organisation can bring
discrimination in then procedure of
recruitment which is related to age, gender,
colour, disability. All the employees must
treat equal in the organisation as per their
knowledge and skills. The main objective of
this act is to protect the employees from
harassment and also from victimisation.
The human right act
This right states that employees must
get freedom in their work and also the
organisation give them some time to manage
their personal and private life (The Human
Rights Act, 2020). As per this act,
organisation must provide work-life balance
to the employees and all the people should
give respect to each other. So this law
maintain the ethics at the work place and also
employees get satisfaction that they are
working with the right company and
organisation.
Document Page
So these are the major two laws which
has been imposed by the government of UK to
protect and safeguard the rights of employees
and provide them health workplace, and
equalities so that they may work
enthusiastically and also give them many
growth opportunities.

B. issues
The first rule which an employee must follow is the privacy. It is the responsibility of the
staff members to ensure that they do not violate the privacy regulations of the organisation. The
employees have authority and access to data of clients as well as customers. Thus they are
expected to ensure that they do not make any unauthenticated use of information related to
clients (Lim and et.al, 2017). For instance, staff members must not use client information for
unofficial purpose or for any unethical activity. Even before sharing or utilising any information
employees must make take permission from the responsible authorities. Employees must also
have accountability towards all the actions taken by them. It is their responsibility that they must
abide all regulations and code of conduct before accomplishing any practice. The another thing
which the employees have to follow is that they have to communicate well in the organisation
with their collogues and also they have to communicate politely with their customer and clients.
Another thing which the employees have to follow in the organisation that they must treat equal
to all so the employees can focus on their work and also try tom achieve their individual target. If
the employees perform well then only the organisation may get achieved their goal.
Apart from this, employee have to accept change in the organisation because this will
lead success and promotion for them so that they can get growth in the future. This is the only
way which satisfied the employees and also this will get satisfaction to the customers as well.
Change is the only way to get success and when employees follow this, they may also get
success. Except these, rules are very important for employees if they follow the rules they may
attain al the success in their life , and organisation also wants that their employees work
according to the rule and follow them, while following the rule they may provide better services
to the customers.
C. Legal right in relation to GDPR
GDPR stands for general data protection regulation, this act controls the personal
information which is being used by the business, organisation and government (Buhmann and
et.al, 2019). As per this act when the organisation and business collects data from the customers
they have to make sure that al the necessary information must be protected and also
transparently. Apart from this, organisation have to make sure accuracy of the information. As
GDPR is considered as one of the strongest data protection act, which states that how
organisation and people can use the information which is available with them. One the other

hand, as per this act, they mange the people data can be managed. The man reason behind
imposing this act is to provide security to the data collected no one can misuse and misrepresent
the data. Data privacy is very important now -a-days many people misuses the information and
also try to protect them (Truong and et.al, 2019). But many companies are misusing the data of
their customers and also they are selling the valuable data of their customer just for the sake of
extra money and profit. So data protection is useful in this term that they protect the privacy of
the customers and make such company punished if they found to misuse the data. When the
company got found that they are misusing the valuable data of customers, government and
judiciary may cancel the license of such companies.

TASK 3
Introduction
Collaboration is defined as the practice to work together to achieve a common goal or
objective (Oviawe, Uwameiye and Uddin, 2017). For the success of organisation, it is very
important that employees must work collaboratively by overcoming their personal differences.
The collaborative work environment is vital for the productive business outcome. This report
will discuss the benefits and practices for encouraging workplace collaboration. It will also
evaluate the consequences of poor collaboration.
Collaborative working
Collaborative working is very crucial for the success of company because it employees are
not able to work in collaboration then they may fail to communicate each other. It will result in
task failure. When individuals work tougher for shared goals then they used to incorporate better
ideas and knowledge or resource sharing. This not only helps to achieve tasks quickly but with
more efficiency and with optimum use of resources. Organisation which does not have
collaboration are not able to retain employees for long term because their culture is not
productive and innovative.
Strategies
For improving collaboration at work place organisation must encourage a culture of
transparency and openness so that individuals can openly share their ideas without having fear of
judgement or criticism. There must be appropriate communication sources so that lack of
communication does not have negative impact on collaborative practices (Lindsay and et.al.,
2018). The leaders must give training to staff members about the need and methods of
collaborative practices so that they can improve the productivity of tasks as well as self-
development. Leaders must also emphasis on adopting infrastructure which encourages the need
and use of cross cultural work practices so that employees can learn collaboration.
Guiding values
The first value which guides individuals to work collaboratively is trust and empathy. If
individuals do not have trust on each other then they will never be able to work together. Each
individual must have sense of accountability and creativity. This aspect is useful so that during
conflicts all participating members are ready to share responsibility instead of shifting blame on
each other. Employees must also have positivity and clarity of their roles so that they can give
