Introduction
The report intends to deliver the beneficial values the Vancouver Convention Centre
offers for the approaching trade show that is going to take place next year by March. The
West Building being the largest among the two buildings has the accommodation of more
than 20,000 sqf implying satisfying the requirement (Rogers, 2013). It proposes a vast biking
place, parking area and an open space of 15 acres which would be appropriate to arrange the
trade show in.
Discussion
Green Practices
The “Go Green” certified building is not only one of the largest convention centers to
fulfill the criterion of organizing the trade show but also has some amazing and innovative
green practices to leave a contribution to the environment to a great extent. The best
participation as a green practitioner is the provision of “living roof” which has this unique
feature of cultivating more than 400,000 local plants and 4 clusters of more than 60,000 bees
where honey is produced at a large scale to have sent them to the associated restaurants
(Sutton, 2014). This has developed idea of building an artificial reef ringing the center which
is not only sheltering different aquatic animals but also provides a natural ground of fish
habitat. The see water is utilized in such a way that the temperature of the building can be
controlled accordingly plummeting the quantity of consumed energy(Park & Kim, 2017).
Again the wastewater is recycled in a systematic manner in toilets and also in terrace
irrigation. The other initiative that the building has adapted is to completely prohibit the use
of canned food, throw-able dishes and instruments and apparatus (DAMATI, 2013). In fact
the leftover food is not wasted rather it is distributed among the needy people and the charity.

A trade show needs a brilliant quality of audio-visual sector which is welcomingly

are prepared and excelled by the specialized team. The food can be personalized accordingly
that would definitely attract the consumers attending the fair.

The visitors starting from the exhibitors to the media and the general public are
equally happy and satisfied with the service offered by the convention center. The exhibitors
are amazed by the highly organized provision to execute their show and the media houses are
thoroughly moved to witness such grandeur. The media is utterly impressed and praises the
advanced arrangements of the center (Rogers & Davidson, 2015). The general public is
joyous with the food service and especially with the massage service provided here. It is
recorded that the people really enjoy the shows and wish to come back here again. These
points can definitely add to the motive of choosing this as the venue.
Venue’s Schedule
There is a schedule of anticipated events in the approaching year and especially there
is a tentative date of two international trade show in the month of March only. Although the
trade shows are primarily dealing with property and antique display orientation respectively
yet there are possibilities of number of participation going down because of the previous

shows. Therefore it is important for the organization to present the best quality product and
advertise to an extent that can draw the maximum number of interested consumers. Even if
the other shows are from different trade background the organization should never miss any
opportunity to work on every little threat to overcome it.
Conclusion
There is no valid reason to decline this amazing opportunity to arrange the trade show
here. This will certainly add some advantage to our organization and a clear publicity will be
established. The venue is perfect and the month also looks suitable because April is already
loaded with art trade fair which can be a bigger threat to draw the crowd. The facilities and
the services that the center offers are pretty promising and appropriate for the trade show.
Hence it will be convenient to move forward with Vancouver Convention Center.
