Skills, knowledge and attribute gain during learning experience
Throughout the project I have learned about project management that means process of
leading the work of a team in order to accomplish project goals within limited set of time. Along
with this, I have also evaluated about monitoring and controlling which can be define as process
of tracking and reviewing as well as regulating the progress and performance of the project. It
also helps in identifying areas where the changes of the project management methods are
required. In addition to this, I have also gathered information about the various too that can be
used for managing the risk. Such as network diagram as well as Gantt chart that helps analysing
and activities as well as time required for completing it (McDonough, Liu and Gao,2020). Along
with this, I have also learned that appropriate skill is required for completing the task such as
research skill for identifying the threat and finding relevant information.
Through the assessment I have gathered information about monitoring and controlling
the project cycle. Along with this, I have analysed that it plays very important role in finding and
investigating about the threat that may arise in project. In addition to this, I have learned about
project management and tools that can be used in making the project effective. Although I have
made a research project relate to business plan on company Meals on Wheels (Aarthi and
Bhuvaneshwaran, 2021). In the project I have made clear aims and objective so that task is
completed on time and research paper can be useful for other scholars. Along with this, for
determining the activities of task I have made use of Gantt Chart.
In addition to this, I learn about the project management which is the process of
completing the project on time with help of other team member. Along with this, it helps in
accomplishing the organizational goals limited set of time and effective. Moreover, there are
various tool that can be used in project management that contributes in making the research more
effective (Lidstone and Mostofsky, 2021). In addition to this, one of the most common tool is
Gantt chart that helps in visualization the project timeline and the dependencies between
various work item. It is helpful in keeping the track of the project schedule, investigating from
the project plan and identifying delays. Moreover, it helps in staying on the track from the
project plan as well as help in identifying the critical tasks that will help in ensuring the project
gets complete o time. In addition to this, the another tool that can be use in project management

is Work Breakdown Structure and it is one of the most important tool that helps in breaking the
structure into actionable work items. In addition to this, it can be applied by understanding the
project scope, creating a WBS dictionary and using the right WBS format.
During the assessment I have developed various abilities that has help in developing overall
personality (Hull and Norris, 2020). Along with this, I have developed research skill through
investigating data. I have also enhanced my critical thinking and problem solving skills that has
helped in finding right solution for dealing with the task. Throughout the project t I have learned
that monitoring of project is very important in order to know the progress it. Along with this, I
have also learned that there should be proper communication that need to be maintained so that
there is no chaos in the project (McDonough, Liu and Gao, 2020). Moreover, I have also
analysed that there is various tool that can be used in order to monitor the project.
Throughout the last eleven weeks I have learned about project and the ways to complete it
effectively. Along with this, I have learned about project research and it importance in collecting
relevant data. Moreover, research material can be gathered through primary or secondary
method that helps in doing qualitative and quantitative study correctly (Bao and et.al., 2021). In
this, I have evaluated about monitoring of the project that helps in analysing the progress of the
project. Furthermore, this all will help me in skill development that is required in completing the
project. Overall, it reflects the ways to monitor the project with help of using tools.
Integration of theory and practice
It is reflected that how the project is considered that helps to improve the results. As the
entire project is related to project management and that is why, it helps to conduct the entire
research in effective manner. Like monitoring tool is used in project if the goals and aims are
clearly defined so that activities can be planned accurately. Although this tool can be applied as
project require more time and resources in order to completed it. Gantt chart has been used in
order to track about the activities with time so that idea of resource can be analysed. Along with
this, it will help in controlling the project as it will give detail about resources that is used in
project (Bennett-Levy and Finlay-Jones, 2018). Moreover, it also helps in reviewing the
performance of the project that allows in knowing the future threat and growth of project.
I have used this skill while doing the research methodology a I have gathered data from
various secondary sources and primary. Although with help of this skill I was able to analyse and

find accurate data for the project. Moreover, I have used problem solving skill in identifying
future threat as well as to make appropriate solution to deal with it.
Monitoring the project is very important as it helps in knowing the track of the project.
Along with this, it can be applied in research by using appropriate tool like Gantt chart as it will
give detail of the resources required for making the project effective. It will also help in
analysing the time related for completing the project in effective manner. Thus, tool can be
applied in the project as it will contribute in finding constraint in the project. Moreover, research
skill can be applied in the project by finding information through various sources in order to
make project efficient.
For completing the project on time as well as to make it effective I have made use of
Gantt chart. It is known as one of the most popular and useful tool of project management. It
helps in showing task displayed against time. Although on the left side of the chart the list of
activities is presented and along with timescale on top (Bao and et.al., 2021). Each activity is
represented by a bar such as the position and length reflects the start and duration of the activity.
Furthermore, the reason of choosing this tool is it helps in improving efficiency by managing the
resources. Thus, it ensures in managing the time and resources. It also contributes in tracking
activities that reveal possible issues that may arise in completion of project.
Barrier and strength of an entire experience through the study
For completing the project there were limitation that has been faced while completing the
project. Along with this, the first challenges were to gather the resource for project as due to
lack of availability of money it was hard. Moreover, due to lack of time secondary research has
been adopted by the scholar. The goals of the project were clearly defining that has contributed
in completing the project effectively (Stephenson, 2019). Although the difficult part was a
managing the risk due to poor project management software. I have also faced issue due to
inadequate skill for solving the problem in particular area. Moreover, gathering fund for the
project was bit challenging as people are not willing to invest. For resolving the issue of
budgeting I went to investor and made them understand about the reason behind conducting this
study and how it will be beneficial for them. Along with this, for dealing with the issue of lack
of time I have made time management programme so that I can have idea about total time
required and ways I can segment it (Mizuno and et.al.,2020). Moreover, for dealing with
challenge of inadequate skill I took online classes so that I can learn about ways to solve the

issues. As well as with help of effective skill I was able to find the appropriate solution for the
technical issues that are creating hindrance in completing the project.
During the project I came across in communication challenge as there was mis
communication between the parties and due to that there was delay in project. Along with this,
the another challenge faced during project has faced is outdated process which has lead in not
completing the project on time (Lock, Becker and Redmond, 2021). Moreover, due to outdated
process risk was not identified and because of that there was many hindrances in the project.
For solving the communication issue the task and roles were assigned to participant of the
project so that there is no chaos. Along with this, this strategy has helped the company in
maintaining proper flow of Information (Mizuno and et.al.,2020). Moreover, in order to solve
issue related to outdated process Gantt chart has been used to analysing about time and activities.
For the entire study, I think that that I gain negotiation skills while working on this
project and this is considered as a strength because I am able to perform the negotiate the work
on the basis of effective skills. Moreover, I also improve the motivation skills and interest toward
my work because earlier only have little or theoretical knowledge pertaining to the work. But the
current study offer me an opportunity to perform the work in an effective manner and this assist
me to consider the same into my strength. Further, I am able to perform the work only due to
having strong technological skills because I am able to operate MS project and this in turn assist
me to gain better experience and consider the same into my strength as well.
Meeting up of goals and objectives
Yes, the goals and objectives of the project are effectively met because I work step by
step and in order to justify my learning, I am able to make action plan in order to improve my
skills. Moreover, I was able to achieve the goals with the help of Gantt chart tool as it contributes
in reviewing the project management progress. Also, research skill helps in learning about
various things and enhancing knowledge. Along with this, it also allows an individual in
differentiating between right and wrong data. Moreover, problem solving skill allows in
addressing issues in effective manner. However, there are many loopholes or weakness identified
within a project which entails that there is a need to make effective steps and for that action plan
need to be taken that assist to create a better outcome and improve results.

In addition to this, to meet the defined goals, I also took a help of tutor, session of online
class that assist me to generate a better outcome and create a better outcome. Further, through
action plan, I am able to improve the results because I choose different resources that helps me to
accomplish the goals and objectives and perform the entire study in more effective manner.
Through the experience, I also realised that there are many challenges identified and in order to
resolve the same, I used secondary sources like newspaper, online website so that in future when
the same study will be performed then the chances of getting negative outcome will be decreases.
Therefore, I can say that I develop ways to improve my challenges and for that, online websites
and seminars support me a lot in order to create a better outcome.

performed in order to improve the skills so that in future it can assist to meet the set goal. For the
