Introduction
The main goal of the assessment is to provide an effective way of managing the project
schedule and budget. It becomes very important to ensure that the main constituents associated
with the project are successfully meet. The aim of the project is to develop a vehicle maintenance
facility project that will be designed with all the essential features that are present within a small
scale commercial building. The report will be developed for the purpose of providing the project
goals and objectives. Along with this the project schedule will also be prepared so that it
becomes easy to understand the different project phases. In order to understand the project
phases effectively work breakdown structure is also going to be developed.
Project background
The project mainly aims at describing the schedule and the scope that is essential for
providing a proper vehicles service. There is a need to ensure that every phase of schedule
management has been implemented successfully within the project. Scheduling is the basic
components into while organizing a project as this ensures that all the essential data in order to
successfully meet at the time of execution. Vehicle maintenance facility project is one of a
hypothetical corporate vehicle maintenance facility. This is designed with the purpose of offering
proper services to commercial buildings. In order to successfully execute the project all the
essential approvals are already made. This site for the project is located on city Street in an
industrial park. The site plan is prepared with the large parking lot that will allow vehicles to
park and will ensure that the services provided at a station. The main reason behind planning the
vehicle maintenance facility is to ensure that every vehicle is provided with proper services.

The aim of the project is to develop an efficient project that will be capable of providing
better maintenance towards the vehicles. The project is designed with the aim of providing better
support towards vehicle maintenance facility. The project will be executed within a fixed price,
and fixed scopes that are decided before executing the project. According to the budget and the
time estimated it has been decided that the project will be executed within 185 days.. The main
goal that is associated with the project is to ensure that all the exterior and interior components
are developed within the project successfully so that it can offer a better service towards the
customer. All the essential facilities will be provided to words the users and by the end of the
project. The key project objectives are listed below:
 To offer proper services and maintenance towards the vehicles
 Executing the project within the estimated budget and time
 The project will be executed as per the requirements provided by the users.
 Ensuring that all resources are managed successfully
Project constraints and assumptions
The assumptions that were made before executing the project are that the project will be
executed within the estimated budget. The main deliverables that are associated with the project
implementation includes identifying the resources, locating proper work to property individuals
and ensuring that all components are fulfilled while executing the project.
Project assumptions is referred to the condition that is made based on the project
requirements. On the other hand project constraints are referred to the limitations that are

associated with the project. While executing a project it is important to make proper assumptions
so that it becomes easy to manage all the key objectives.
Assumptions
The project will be developed with the help of proper project team members and will
ensure that all the project objectives are fulfilled. It has also been decided that the project budget
will be around $1,162,366. Every project faces will be evaluated by the project managers so that
the chances of errors can be reduced effectively.
Constraints
The project constraint that has the potential to hamper the overall performance of the
project includes the time constraints, the budget constraints and resource constraints. It becomes
essential to ensure that the entire objective is fulfilled with the development of the project.
However it becomes very difficult to ensure that the project is executed by mitigating all the
risks. The constraints are discussed below:
A time constraint occurs when the project team member fails to execute the project
within the estimated time.
Budget constraint is also one such issue that has the potential to hamper the overall
development of the project. There is a need to maintain the overall budget so that the chances of
budget overrun can be minimized. Budget overrun takes place due to human errors and
sometimes due to inappropriate management of resources. Thus there is a need to ensure that
proper resource management has been integrated within the project.
Resource constraint is referred to the issues that is mainly faced due to lack of resources.
Before starting execution of the project it is important to ensure that all the resources are

highlight all the deliverables to words the team members so that they can work accordingly. The
