opportunities for individuals. Both skill and knowledge are considered as a primary engine for

up with higher and better level of knowledge and skill can easily respond to various challenges
and issues with respect to globalization. Technical and Vocational Education tends to play a key
role in the human resource development of any county by building skilled manpower.
In the coming pages of the essay, an idea has been provided with respect to vocational
education system for skill development and learning. After that two benefits of VET for
enterprise has been discussed in details. The last section of the essay mainly deals with
challenges which the enterprise can encounter in this VET sector.
Discussion
Technical and Vocational education can be considered to be helpful for improving
industrial education and productivity. It can be considered to be useful for improving the overall
quality of life. Technical education can be considered to be a remarkable contribution to the

which works as per the need of the different organization. Technical education aims to cover
certain number of courses and programs which are related to engineering domain. Vocational
education can be defined a much larger sense of education and skill at various levels. It can

vocational secondary education aims to provide educational opportunities. It is mainly done so

Benefits of VET
Low- cost Education: People, government and organization tend to invest in VET
because of positive outcome, higher wages, and improved productivity. Apart from this, it will
also help in economic growth of the organization. Apart from this, VET can also bring non -
economic benefits lower rate of absenteeism and low crime rate (Hampf & Woessmann 2017).
VET focus on relationships like impact on productivity or health or even insufficient attention
which has been given. The fact can be taken into account how benefits can impact the
organization. It can easily help in gaining much higher productivity by improving the level of
skills. Apart from this, it can also help in increasing the overall job satisfaction and reducing
absenteeism. By making use of new and existing research covering in large number of European
based countries. VET can easily provide some advantages which are considered to be difficult to
express in monetary domain. Both organization and government which can fully take account of
the benefits of VET at the time of investing it. The biggest benefit of VET is that it does not only
influences the likelihood of invest but also can be important for various understanding
(Hanushek et al. 2017). With the help of better understanding, it can also influence the
likelihood of overall invest in VET. It can be defined as an important factor for organization to
compete with given high quality of services. It creates a platform where various skills and
attitudes can easily combine for overall success. VET benefits have focused on certain number of
relationships like impact on overall productivity or even health. Insufficient attention can focus
on how VET benefits can easily interact in organization.

Easy Employment: There are some social benefits of VET which are difficult to
understand that the economic ones. It is mainly embedded in certain number of ways in which
the whole society can function. Economic benefits of VET can be easily considered to be very
much concrete and punctual in nature (Kamasheva et al. 2016). There are some social benefits
which are characterized by overlapping effects. Both economic and social benefits are directly
connected to each other. A much lower rate of participation in VET can easily result in high
amount of unemployment which will ultimately create an unstable society. By the help of well-
established VET system, it can easily connect to the change in the job needs for VET and new
challenges in job requirement. There are some countries which are very less to social benefits in
comparison to economic ones (Lunev et al. 2016). The overall social benefits are mainly
reported by analyzing the changes in the society which is a result of VET programs.
Drawbacks of VET
Vocational or Technical colleges aims to provide some specific programs which are
much shorter and focused than four-year traditional degree. This particular vocational program is
made available to trade schools or community colleges (Pugacheva et al. 2016). It can easily
offer a huge number of career along with vocational degree programs.
Shorter Duration: Vocational school programs are given in four years in private college.
Along with degree programs offered at community colleges which are given for full-time study.
Students can also gain certification in some of the degree programs which requires nine to 12
months for earning (Fedorov & Tretyakova, 2016). With the help of short time for gaining
degree where the student can easily invest less money in their education. The programs can be

with limited flexibility which is provided. If a student starts up with limited mechanic program,
then after crossing halfway the student wants to go into the business. It will ultimately result in
loss of both money and time. A student who wants begin with a four-year program needs to take
up the requirements in the early stage (Hampf & Woessmann 2017). It can easily provide a
proper kind of courses and program. In general career degree program mainly includes a
collection of business classes and experiences. It can provide much diverse kind of career option.
The major drawbacks of making choice of VET is that the given credit are not that much
respectful like the normal colleges. They might not be considered to prerequisites if the person
aspires to attend college later on. Despite the low amount of cost with are there will vocational
schools and training programs are considered to be much higher related to it. Students come up
with huge expenditure on the required tools and equipments (Hanushek et al. 2017). It also tends
to focus on given materials and associated workshop which are needed at the time of conducting
programs.
