INTRODUCTION
Social policy is considered as a major strategic framework which helps in development of
society. Social policy is defined as a key approach developed by government in order to achieve
social objectives and goals (Carey, 2021) . The social policy is developed by government in
order to help and support weaker sections of the society. In order to develop social policy
government must take into consideration development of plans and policies which are suitable
for the citizens. Social policy also helps a country to develop key approach in performing
different types of welfare for the society related to social development. Social policy is the major
priority of government of United Kingdom to achieve prosperous and stable growth. The key
function of society should be on understanding the approach of government and support its steps
by remaining loyal. In order to develop social aspects of a country, it is important for the
government to take into consideration key goals and objectives. In the recent times, government
of different countries are involved in development of social policy according to social and
economic conditions in order to perform effective development. With the help and support of
social policy, society gets large number of benefits. In the British social society, Collectivism
prioritizes group cohesion over individual pursuits, and it sees long-term relationships as
essential since it promotes group goals. The concept of collectivism focuses on freedom of
human beings as well as makes concern about their independence. The individualist approach
helps the British Social Society to make freedom based approach which is beneficial for overall
development.

of policy makers to identify loopholes in the society and develop policies and plans accordingly.

The voluntary organisation selected in this section is Victim support which is always
ready to help victims. The Victim Support is an independent charity based organisation which
helps people who suffers from any crime. It is crucial role of Victim Support organisation to
develop key and effective ways of serving the society in a needy situation. The Victim support
organisation is mainly independent from police. This organisation states that people should not
report to police for the crime in order to get help (Garrett, 2019). The Victim Support
organisation provides 24*7 support helpline to facilitate victims of domestic violence. It is also a
major role of the organisation to develop effectiveness in working by developing professionalism
in its approach. The Victim support organisation has formulated I Matter programme in order to
support the people who suffer from domestic abuse. The people and citizens of country can also
take advice of Victim Support organisations in personal and family matters. The Victim Support
is an independent charity dedicated to supporting victims of crime and traumatic incidents in
England and Wales. The main aim of Victim Support organisation is to provide specialised help
to different people in order to set them back to their normal lifestyle.
Victim Support within United Kingdom conducts campaigns in order to generate the
awareness among the people of the country. The respective organisation uses a wide number of
advertising and promoting strategies such as social media platforms, offline and online
advertising, digital marketing for the purpose of creating awareness among the people within the
nation (Hirsch, 2020). There are different social media platforms that are used by the respective
business and some of them are You Tube, Instagram, Facebook . With the help of these social
media platforms, the organisation aware the people regarding how it helps in the situations when

The domestic abuse must be stopped immediately in order to focus on social development.
