the aspect of AS-IS situation which states that the seller will hold no responsibility for the
products which has been sold. In general this framework states that the buyer will buy their
product at their own risk. Followed by the aspect of CoBit framework and the case scenario
of the VU School by relating it with the AS-IS framework it has been noticed that there will
be no responsibility of the service providers for any services they have provided, thus the
customers must be aware about what they are selecting as well as the impact of it. Along with
the AS-IS situation framework it is also essential to describe the TO-BE goal of the services
providers which stands for the objectives which has been made by the organization in order
to provide better services to their customers. Those objectives includes the enhancement of
the organizational process as the incorporation of IT in an organizational structure effectively
processes, manages as well as modifies the data. Followed by the objectives of the
organization there is significant impact of the IT methodology in order to address all the
goals which has been set by an organization as Information technology holds an effective
data management process as well as it provides effective decision making approach of the
betterment of the VU school services. Considering the above aspect it can be stated that with

CRM (Customer Relationship Management):
CRM stands for customer relationship management which has the fundamental
objective to effectively manage all the relationships with the customers in order to provide
then better experience about their services. Customers are one of the key success factors of
any business structure thus it is highly essential to maintain the customer relationship with
efficiency. However, in the AS-IS situation does not allow effective CRM process since this
framework is based on the aspect that the customers will buy the products at their own risk
where there will be no responsibility of the service providers. Along with that considering the
scenario of the VU the TO-BE goal has stated that in order to enhance the effectiveness of the
services which has been offered by the school. Followed by this aspect it is assumed that the
school must incorporate effective CRM team in order to clear the queries of their clients as
well as a better utilization of it will surely help to advertise their brand. Since, VU is a multi-
country school it is highly essential to have an effective CRM along with a secure database as
one of the major responsibility of the an organization having the IT infrastructure in it is to
hold a tight security process I order to protect the customer data.
